- In this video, I will show you what a 5 MILLION DAMAGE Crypto Main looks like in Apex Legends in both pubs and in a Masters Ranked lobby. The first game is just some pubs gameplay running a wingman r-99 setup. The second game is the endgame to a Masters Ranked lobby and I show you how I play the end circle with Crypto and when to use EMP and what not. I played Crypto last night for one of my challenges, definitely have some work to do on my play style with him 😅 his EMP does come in clutch now in final ring since people are being weird in pubs and camping this season.

Haven’t played apex till the last 2 weeks of season 16 but think I’ve gotten better with crypto as a main after using catalyst lol since watching videos for better drone positioning

Did you main crypto before the buff? (the one you can throw the drone without going into drone view). I wonder how it has affected your playstyle overall.
Yeah been maining crypto since the end of season 4. Originally when the game first came out, I was a wraith main, then I switched to an octane main for about 3 seasons, and then I fell in love with crypto by the end of season 4.
His buff definitely changed my play style with him. Just having the ability to now heal on the drone while still being able to EMP and what not was game changing once we figured that out. His buff maybe him 20x more enjoyable imo, simply because of being able to heal on the drone lol
@@lburi I mained crypto for a long time too it was easy to farm wins with him when you find the right team, but since I don't play that often I always random queue and with randoms it's hard bc everyone picks a fast legend and when you go drone your team starts pushing leaving you behind
@@TrollProductionsMC just gotta learn to be fast af with the drone. Usually if I’m solo queuing and my team is just moving non stop and pushing everything in pubs, I only go on my drone to EMP enemies or just throw it out for scans as we push. I never over rely on my drone in pubs cause it’s not super necessary, just use it to EMP and heal on drone for quick scans and repositioning my drone
How are you able to heal and go into drone view at the same time? My game doesn't let me

Is Crypto viable in soloq or is it too hard?
He’s viable but he’s definitely not as strong as he is with a team. If you are good with crypto and fast with his drone than he’s viable for solo Q 100%. Just don’t get stuck behind your squad from sitting on your drone too long
