I think I have NEVER been so absorbed with any drama as this one. I am 75 years old. I keep thinking about these characters. I suffered along with them in their problems and rejoiced at the happy ending.
Whos watching this in 2020?
In my opinion, Jung Hae In had real feelings for Son Yejin. It their age gap that somehow prevented them from being together in real life ❤❤❤
Ye (Eon) Jin says, 'Something in the Rain' is special, for the first time in a long time as kdrama actress, she is like living in a Reality. It is obvious to me that it is a Reality how she and Jae In feel for each other, there is obviously that SPARK between them two regardless of the age difference, therefore they have STRONG CHEMISTRY as lovers, and we viewers are drawn endearingly to their sweetness and emotions. From the looks of them on the 54th Baeksang Awards Night, their affair continues to tickle the imagination of new fans that suddenly got addicted to them and want them to be Real, and stay together for as long they love each other., and we also fell in love with them.
I just loved this drama. I watched the actress in Crash Landing on you and couldn't get enough of her. Then I found this one. This introduced me to this young handsome promising actor. These two were so good together I watched the full series twice and told all my friends. Wonderful
The biggest attraction for me in this drama is the reality that a young man can truly love and be dedicated to a woman older than him. I like that they didn't give up on each other regardless of others opinions.
For me, SITR is the best romantic drama! Watched it on Netflix 2 months ago, Sept. 2020 and so far, I’ve watched it 27 times already. Beautiful, SYJ and handsome, JHI have awesome chemistry! I love them so much! I wish for Season 2 and for them to be real life couple. Still watching it in between other dramas. Can’t seem to move on. From a big fan in NYC, USA.😍❤️🥰
Calling all directors in Korea, you guys need to make another drama or movie of Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin. Thier chemistry is so amazing that even here in the US, fans are watching even it doesn't have any subs. There's a saying that "strike the iron while it's hot". So, directors takes advantage of the time now!
Son Ye Jin is really an amazing screen partner...Jung HaeIn got his biggest break when he was paired with her. She's Korea's Melodrama Queen and Best Actress. He is so lucky that he accepted the role. He learned many acting tips from her and was able to get attention from many viewers. After this drama, he won Best Actor awards and was offered leading roles to new dramas...
i'm 66yrs old and after watching this drama i felt im 16 yrs old. i felt so young and in love. I've watched it three times and really it makes me feel i'm a teenager in love..😊♥️
The chemistry between these two was so believable the looks these two actors portray in the look of love they show each other you can almost feel it!!!!! LOVE THIS DRAMA MY FAVORITE FROM USA
For me when it comes to love story Something In The Rain K drama is the best . Son Ye jin and jung Hae In portrayed their character so real . The two are awesome , they really make me happy everyday . No day that I don’t watch this k drama . Actors in this k drama did their best . Thanks to the script writer and the director . You did your best to make your actors portray their best too .
I feel like Son Ye Jin realizes the male actors bring out the best a female can portray and Jung HaenIn made it easy with. His attitude towards her acting he gave her space to bring herself out, very good actors , very good directing and co- actors good support, deservesing an OSCAR! Texas USA

Well not only the actors are very good but the choices of the songs are well suited in each scenes thats why it made the drama more memorable and more realistic.
It’s no joke that their actual awkwardness helped bring their roles and relationship to life better, I’ve never been so immersed in a show that I was nervous along with the characters but with this drama, I found that my muscles were tense and I kept holding my breath, I had to make sure I was properly relaxed like every ten minutes 😂😂
Of all the korean drama movies that I have watched, this is the most beautiful movie for me. Until now, I used to watch it over, whenever I don’t feel watching any movies advertised to watch. The director was so good and all the actors and actresses did their job so well, specially Juni-e and Juni-a.😍🥰😘 Hope to see them in the next movie together.
This is the best Kdrama I've seen in years..the screenplay and story is realistic. Jung Hae In is so cute and handsome.
As he said in the show, it broke some taboos or cliche of Kdramas with this movie. No fancy families, rich and poor, evil mothers / fathers or other people, no awkward kisses but finally some real ones and for a long time not just two in the whole series, facing problems like sexual harassment at work which happens every day all over the world, conservatory family represented so good from her mum (although i wanted to punch her in the face), but first and foremost a real love story and how much he is dedicated to her. Thinking that he has loved her forever and waited to become a bit older in order to express his feelings. This was forever for him but also his sometimes rush in making decisions like going in America to avoid the clash, was not a mature decision. Leaving her alone made me realised how good the writer showed his still, a bit youngish part. But is was perfect. I loved this drama.
