I enjoyed this! A lot of it was right too 🙂 St. Joachim is actually a reference to my brother. My sister and other brother are extras in the church scene and I didn’t want to leave him out. The name Palmeri does show up here and there but is just a reference to Victoria Palmeri who works at New Line. The names Kate and Tierney are also people working at New Line.

Hello, may I point out a detail you missed? In Annabelle: Creation when the girls are playing hide and seek, when the doll is found under the stairs you can see the glowing eyes above and behind the doll
oofly doodly 🤣🤣I’ll tell you I’m 34 and I couldn’t watch this movie alone LOL grab a friend and watch it cause it’s the ONLY Annabelle move worth watching!
Annebelle creations is my favorite of the Annebelle series so far. Another Chicago reference. Joakim Noah was great when he played with my Bulls. 🐂,🐻 (bears not cubs), Blackhawks, and White Sox are my team's.
I actually scrolled down the comments to see if anyone else noticed this speech error lol. I started rewatching the Conjuring and Annabelle films after watching Annabel Comes Home (which I thought was pretty lame) but the first 2 Annabelle films, especially this one, are quite good compared to the third one! I can't believe they made such a lame third Annabelle movie after it started out so well!
It is my favorite movie of the series. I think it's because of David F. Sandberg. He has a fresh perspective on horror movies. The first Annabelle movie and the third really lack in the scary and unexpected aspect. This movie was the only one in years that had me up all night cause I was too afraid of the dark.
I’m late to the party, but at 2:10 when he explains the door with the upside down crosses and the regular crosses, the upside down cross is not a symbol of evil actually the opposite it is St. Peter’s cross. Which unlike most believe is not a symbol of evil the leviathan cross is a symbol of satanic activity and evil the more you know :) still really great job on the commentary of this movie really awesome to see the effort put into these videos!
koolk22 he clearly isn’t educated on these facts and didn’t mean harm to it but I 100% see where it is disrespectful but I genuinely don’t think he knew
The one thing I hate about the Conjuring movies is how Annabelle looks. Most possess objects are very plain mundane items. Something you'd pick up and mess around with. Like a book or a watch. It's so the demon or spirit attached to the item can become attached to you instead. So having Annabelle be a creepy porcelain doll would make it less likely to be interacted with.
I mean people back then had weird taste in dolls, so maybe some found the doll to be cute or just a collector’s item so they didn’t mind how it looked?
There's another foreshadow that was missed in one of the opening scenes of the moving. When Annabelle gets hit by the car there's a very distinct scene where it shows her doll with the left eye smashed out. Possibly a clue as to what would happen to Mrs. Mullens. It's referenced again later in the movie after Janice is possessed, when there's another very distinct close up of Janice stabbing out the left eye of the other girl's doll.
I'm surprised no one noticed Annabelle (The daughter) pop up for a split second behind Janice as she ran away after seeing the blanket fall. Was I the only one to see it?
@@Amirowan It doesn't exactly happen in the video since he cuts it out, but during the scene at 3:14 when Janice began walking away for a few seconds when the camera goes to the side view, you can see behind her the daughter.
What's creepy and chills me more than anything is I had a similar doll to the real life Annabelle doll as a small kid but luckly it wasn't the Annabelle doll and wasn't possessed
My older sisters and my mom watched this while I was downstairs watching videos on my sister’s chromebook. I hid under a blanket and kept on watching my videos. But I was a curious kid so I kept peeking at the movie. It scared me SO MUCH. We have these small dolls in a glass cabinet, so my sisters decided to scare me with them. It terrified me.
So your analysis of the sticcky situations and malphus in on point. Malphus is a demon that can build and destroy fortresses and houses, it makes sense that he could affect how everything works inside one.
The information you said about the inverted cross is incorrect it’s the cross of Saint Peter who chose that way cause he didn’t want to be strung up like Jesus cause he didn’t think he was worthy of it and chose a more painful way to be crucified .. I don’t understand why the correlation between satanic powers and the cross of Saint Peter
In Hollywood the inverted cross is equated to the devil, so in the Conjureverse this signifies the presence of a demon. In reality though, it's got nothing to do with the devil.
First movie: you can see the letter A Second movie: you can see the letter B Third movie: you can see the letter C Fourth movie you can see the letter D
i own a annabelle doll and its not scary at all, its only for movies. but...sometimes she does move herself. like, she falls over..her hand moves off her dress.
the blanket scene to me, says a lot about how the demon works. its not like chucky, where the demon is in the doll, rather, the demon is holding onto the doll. attaching itself. Sort of like, if the demon has nothing to attach itself too, it will float away, so-to-speak.
My theory is that the Annabelle doll from the original 2014 film is a completely different doll than the doll that appears in Annabelle Creation. In Annabelle Creation it shows how Mr. Mullins made 100 Annabelle dolls, and if you look closely the Annabelle doll from Annabelle Creation is smiling with her lips in comparison to the 2014 Annabelle who is smiling with her teeth.
Good theory I like it. Although the films suggest it's just one doll that is possessed and these were its events throug its existence. However you have a keen eye. The Annabelle dolls in the conjuring and Annabelle are larger when you compare them to the people holding them. Although there were a few different dolls used in each film. The Annabelle in Annabelle creation has green eyes and the others have blue. Also her face is a little bit of a character blend from the Father's facecandbsome of his features like his chin and the other dolls dont look like the one in Creation. The one in Annabelle is pretty and the one in the conjuring seems to have wider eyes and like you said a smile with teeth. Good eye! Most people dont aee those differences

Conjuring universe: Malphas and Valek are evil and want to eat your soul with fava beans and a nice chianti. Actual Ars Goetia: imprison these guys in a brass vessel and torture them until they give you what you want. Modern demonolatry: malphas will help you with those blueprints for your dream house and Valek will help you find hidden/lost things. Both are generally cool bros. Just don't try to stick them in a brass vessel.
What happened to Janice was so unfair. She got possessed because she couldn't run away from him... I was also questioning what or who drove Janice into where she was possessed by Malthus. It was Valak. They cooperated against a defenseless orphan girl... Demonsss
@@samuelmtoto5022 I don't think it was Sister Charlotte cause by the time Janice was outside watching her friends playing Sister Charlotte left for some time. It was then Janice was the most defenseless and you see Janice is horrified when she looks behind to see the entity driving her wheelchair. It's shown in the movie that Sister Charlotte was once staying in the abbey of St. Carta where Valak is in the shadow in the photograph. This proves the connection of Valak and makes it possible to interact Janice. It was not Sister Charlotte behind Janice. It was Valak.
You can also see what looks like a cross shaped shadow when she takes down the picture of Annabelle and the doll. (I’m pretty sure, i mean it was only for like a second.)
Fantastic job! This was a fascinating look into Annabelle & Annabelle Creation (that ugly, plastic piece of sh&t!!!!!!!!!!). I have to say I love all 3 Annabelle movies, so I guess I am a sucker. I do like the idea of kind of tying it into the Manson family, because I could easily see it with those crazy women on LSD. You really do a great job delving into the fine details, and I appreciate that so much! You know, when the girl is pulled into the well by "Annabelle," I kept waiting for Samara to show up. Plus, the scarecrow kind of looks like the Ferryman. I heard that the Conjuring 3 is going to involve a werewolf; I was a little disappointed in that. Love werewolves, but...I would love to see a Ferryman story (as long as it doesn't go all Bye Bye Man instead, LOL), and I would love to see something about the tv. It looked pretty cool.
