I make about 2k a month but that's not standard of course as I am in my early stages and it takes time to find long-term clients. My advice is to make an account on freelancing websites asap and start bidding on projects. It might take time for that first client but afterward having that feedback on your reviews it's really easy to get accepted on your future bids.
I always find it interesting to see how different services work best as hourly - I myself worked hourly for a LONG time, now I'm only doing fixed price and also experimenting with the project catalog. So far all inquiries I've had there wanted something other than the project states, but still within the same industry.

Hi, i heard on a youtube video something that has disturbed me. The video claimed that Freelancers charging so low for their services on the Internet is not good for the freelancing industry. It will make companies and business owners believe that they can get their business requirements delivered from freelancers for such a cheap price. So, Freelancers who charge big for their services are not worth it because they have a large number of freelancers who will do it for such a cheap price for them.

It's against TOS. I would recommend adding 3-5 portfolio items (high quality) on your profile. If you want to take it a step further, you can build a portfolio web page that doesn't have contact details on it. support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062618-Upwork-Terms-of-Service

Hey! This is an area where you need to be careful. You need to prove your abilities, but don't share too much information regarding a solution. They may have went another route or had it resolved off Upwork. Don't work on a project without the project being awarded to you.

That depends on your membership. Check your account settings and see what membership level you’re on. Freelancer plus is the one with a monthly fee.

It's against TOS. I would recommend adding 3-5 portfolio items (high quality) on your profile. If you want to take it a step further, you can build a portfolio web page that doesn't have contact details on it. support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062618-Upwork-Terms-of-Service

Hey! This is an area where you need to be careful. You need to prove your abilities, but don't share too much information regarding a solution. They may have went another route or had it resolved off Upwork. Don't work on a project without the project being awarded to you.
