Building in Nicaragua - Palm Fronds for a Thatch Roof

We sourced our 2.5 "fletes" of palm fronds from a property within walking distance, transported them by tractor along the beach, then had them hand woven to make our roof complete with air flow window. The palms cost about $250 US.
