Ok! Who bought a bunch vostok watches and did a service & switched the dial.

Small correction Rob. A helium escape valve is not required for ISO Certification. It really does look like a repurposed Vostok.

Don’t want to be the negative guy in the comments but I have to, that thing looks cheap and is definitely overpriced for what your getting.
    Thanks RR for the video

No one should consider you negative just because you don't like the watch. I feel the same way as you do. When I first saw it, I got Vostok vibes and thought it would be around $200 or less not $1200. But as always, to each his/her own if they like it.

Totally agree. I tried it on couple months ago. Decided not to buy. Overpriced for what you get.

Nice watch. McDowell time, tide water, is same case shape and has a fitted bracelet for it for half the price and same specs if not better

Great review. I think the size of the dial can influence the perceived size. That'll be a 28mm dial, cos of the thick bezel.
    Makes the watch look small.

I love the looks of the bracelet, those large thin links look very retro. Like something I'd see on an old Vostok perhaps.

Great vid. Love the watch. So much so I bought one. Interesting alternative to my TUNA MM1000. That bracelet is sourced from Forester by NG. And you can still get that bracelet, in addition to other ss offering(s).

On something heritage inspired like this piece, I kinda like the older style bracelet too.

I had the green dial version this spring but unfortunately it does wear extremely small so it looked to me like a toy Panerai. Otherwise great finishing and specs for the money so I'm disappointed it did not work out for me. Also I like the vibe around the brand.
They source the bracelets from Fostner and the one you are showing has the "stretch" links option, which is super nifty and vintage. I'm surprised you're having doubts about it as they are generally very well regarded. They do Omega SM and Speedy, as well as Tudor BB replacement bracelets. And, it's Sellita in there not Soprod.

That was on my wish list. But now for $1k. Ehhh not so sure now. It diff fell down on that list. By 8 spots.

I'm interested in their upcoming Antarctic skin diver release. This bracelet ain't bad, but check out the rivet stretch (all links) version by Forstner - it goes to another level.

This was one of my surprise favorites when I went to the Wind-Up show in San Francisco this year. When I tried it on in the metal, for a 1,000m water resist dive watch, it's surprisingly compact and slim. And the dial is just more fun and acceptable to me in person then I thought I would like. I usually don't like these funky looking numbers, but it's quite a charming watch for sure. I would definitely go with this particular variation. However, I believe there's a similar variation that includes Pac-Man style squids or octopus that look like the Pac-Man ghosts that you can apply to the dial for some added fun. I don't know, this one always keeps popping up in my head since I saw it at the Wind-Up. I might end up with when at some point.
Regarding the bracelet. I'm curious if that's just some other bracelet that the brand offers? My main concern with that one that you show might be that the links are rather long so getting the perfect fit potentially could be an issue. But you do have those micro adjust on the class. So maybe not. On the website it shows it on a more beads of rice style bracelet as an option. Anyway thanks for the review.

You know it's an "authentic" first glance review when you discover new things about the watch while filming! Love this vintage vibe on the watch, glad they have cushion style cases in smaller sizes!

No Lume on the bezel for a 1000m diver?

An overpriced Vostok. Funny how nobody ever wants to discuss the unproven ETA clone movement.
