I have one in same caliber and I am loving it! Excellent knockdown power with WINCHESTER DEER SEASON XP 7MM-08

I have had the original A-Bolt and the A-Bolt 2......they to me, feel much better than the newer A-Bolt 3...it just seems cheaper. Guessing that when they came out with X-Bolt...they had to cheapen the A-Bolt to make it different and push X-Bolt for sales. The AB3 really feels nothing like the AB1 and AB2....it just feels cheaper and the action sucks on it compared to originals.

I just bought a new Browning AB3 in 243 and it's awesome, sub moa and it loves every amo I've fed it!

I was shooting pennies at 100 yards with my 1992 Browning A-Bolt Hunter 7mm08 last weekend and I can assure you it has enough power to bring down water buffalo's and elephants so it is more than a entry level hunting rifle
The ballistics of the 160 grain bullets I load for 2700 fps actually beats a 300 win mag same size bullet at 800 yards and the 30-06 and 308 hands down after 300 yards
I was getting 1053 FPE at 1000 yards with that 160 grain bullet I was shooting and just try your hardest to beat that with a 308 30-06 or 6.5 creedmoor as it cannot be done unless you're shooting a 7mm08 160 grain high BC bullet going 2700 fps
Not only that it passes up and beats a 300 win mag 160 grain bullet FPE starting at over 3000 fps by the time it gets to 800 yards
Unless they do a little home work people will always think of the 7mm08 as some kind of entry rifle when in fact it beats the 30-06 308 6.5 creedmoor and the 300 win mag with a 160 grain bullet and has more knock down power than all of them at long ranges
The reason I made that video was because my brother made a stupid comment how I would need a 30-06 to make a 1000 yard shot as the 7mm08 would not be enough when in fact the 7mm08 beats the 30-06 at 300 yards easy as pie and is massacring it at 1000 yards
