      Actually you don’t need super expensive equipment like this, you could do it with bricks wood and a hairdryer, you could use sandpaper for engraving like he did here. ua-cam.com/video/Fuk7Lw_uV5s/v-deo.html

      Iron is deadly to a couple creatures, and is a repellent for some forms of undead. I imagine a pure iron stake would probably kill a vampire. You gotta destroy the heart, or alternatively you just have to chop off the head.

      Don't believe @@ninboy01 , I tried iron and the vampire still killed my whole family. He's most likely one of them.

    When it still warm rub a brass wire brush. It will melt slightly leaving the meetal a golden colour. It look really good. I learnt that from a guy from the herberton historic village when i was on holiday there

    I wanna see this implemented into something like a Chinese styled table with those but longer as legs, spiraling as they go down in order to support weight. That would look so cool!

    Seeing tutorials like this really makes me wish I had the equipment to try it. And if I was to try something like this, I’d also try heat treating the scales to change their colour slightly. Would give it a unique look.

    I just wanted to thank you. I saw this vid some time ago and used it on rail stakes knives. Once it cools down i took it to an extras stump and used a wooden hammer to smooth the scales down. Then worked the blade. So much fun

      Would silver be too soft for this type of forming? If it is possible it would look so good, maybe form a chain of scales etc

      @@stuthhamster I've actually been going over it in my head. Thinking if I get the right amount of heat, I could maybe get those twists in but it would be more like one at a time or possibly two

      Sure you could do this in silver, so long as you've annealed it.

      @@MrTheweerobin Yeah, but it's the thicker part I was concerned about. I had a thought if I brought it up to a dull red on the thicker part, I could twist it nicely, then the thinner stuff would be easier annealed yah :D

    A bit of whistling over the voiceover is a great idea , I am going to do this in my daily interactions from now on with a portable speaker to go over my voice when I talk to people

    I like taking railroad spikes and twisting them with different designs and using the twist as handles for knives that I make from the railroad spike. Awesome a new way!

    I really dig your subject matter and the work is awesome! I have to say for posterity that the whistle music was a little distracting. Honestly though, I don't think that makes your video any less cool. Great work supreme artistic skill!
    Also, you're fire is incredible. That went to red hot in less than a second!
