Just tried it. I tweaked the recipe a bit. Instead of sago, I used chia seed. Didn’t add sugar syrup. Just relied on the sweetness fr the mango. Added ice. Wonderful dessert. 😍😍😍 Will definitely be a mainstay in my family
Hi Chef Roland. Thanks for this recipe👍. The evaporated milk seemed watery, do we need to add in water pls? or is it just solely from the evaporated milk? thank you
i watched other recipes and they normally add in coconut milk and evaportaed milk and cook the concoction but I think this recipe is great for lazy people like me who have a sweet tooth but too lazy to go supermarket and get stuff. So this could be items you already have at home and ready to use.
made it yesterday n will do again. looking forward to more dessert.
Somehow I can only follow your recipe in all my cooking. 👍

Hi brother how are you?
Can I skip evaporated milk and substitute with milk?
good to see you back !
Roland, what can be replace with pomelo. Can use full cream milk instead of evaporated one. Tks
Hi, can we omit the evaporated milk and replace with coconut milk to make it dairy-free? Will it alter the taste drastically?
Any chance you can show us how they make the full fried chicken legs usually found in HK cafes. The batter on them was so great.
hi Spice and Pans!
Is there any replacement for Evaporated Milk?
I didn’t know it’s so simple. Thanks! Do I do the same thing if I want watermelon or Honeydew sago?
are sago pearls the same as tapioca pearls tyvm
So easy! :O
Hi Chef, if want to try adding coconut milk, how much to add?
This looks good 💯
Can I use coconut milk instead of eveaporated mlik ?
can it be served chilled?
Hi chef any substitute for palm sugar?
I wonder if it'll work to add konniyaku powder dissolved in water in place of the sugar syrup and make it into a chewy jelly.
Is pomelo in the citrus family? Will the dessert be comparable without it? I am not sure it is available where I am.
Thank you!
Pamelo is similar to grapefruit. Its larger in size. Hope this helps
yummy yummy
Your recipe is good for how many people?
Yum! 🥰🙏🕊️🌺💖
Bangladeshis have a similar recipe without Mangos but using sago pearls, milk and coconut
