Raymon also became the host of the Event Center... I never saw the Rougeaus in action; they were when I started watching, but jacques would return as the Mountie, and Raymond would come back in 93.
Jacques Rougeau would go on to become "The Mountie" Raymond Rougeau would go on to become a Ring Announcer for a little bit, and then be the Play by Play guy for French broadcasts.
I don't know why the Rougeous didn't do many interviews when they could sing as phenomenally as this!!!!! ;*( I think it might've been because Raymond had a squeaky voice that didn't sound very menacing, even though he was a legitimate tough man!!!!!! ;*(
@leonardo9336 While I agree that these guys should have had 1 tag team title run, but you can't say Demolition was underused! I mean they still hold the record for the longest tag team title run!
@mmmikeyxx oh i didnt know that. so that means that for sure you'll be driving with the quebec symbol on your jacket, and scotch tape those 2 mini sized usa flags to the tops of your windshield, 1 on da right soide, 1 on the left side, and turn the music up load. i know u got a nice stereo in your frenchmobile, but its an old convertable lebaron. so do u really tape those litlte usa flags to the windshield when ur driving around quebec, pretending ur an all american boy.
Why are they saying there All-American Boys when there Canadian Its like Bandit Keith from Yugioh Abridged saying hes american when hes actually canadian
i think their theme song was aimed at making them hated by both countries since they're not real americans but claim to be, yet wear quebec colors, and turned their backs on canada as everyone knows.
But it was a patronizing, fake sincere move...they were billed as "From Montreal and soon to relocate to Memphis", they carried *tiny* American flags, and used American/whitebread stereotypes. For instance, at the 1989 SSeries, they exclaimed that they were energized and ready to go because they "went to bed at 8:00 last night"
I love u!! The Fabolous Rougeau Brothers, back when the WWF was awesome!
You're 100% right. The opening match of Summer Slam '88, shows how great these guys were.
