Caught us on a very good day, probably our best all-round performance to date. Due in no small part to Neil finding his best performance of the season to date. Maybe you also underperformed we certainly expected a bit more from you. Respectable start. There's always a concern if a newly promoted club can compete at the next level. Looks like you can.
@rickyhowe9602 While the trip up is a bit rough, always a memorable game and glad to be back in the same league as you. We'll see you in April at Grenoble Road, when you might well be about to return to the Prem. All the best💛
@@SamJW it’s a long one for you. I’m Watford based so I know it’s rough but a club like Oxford have a very nice and respectful fan base, is a very well run club and should be proud but more so deserve to be in the championship. Don’t look at yourselves like a league one club now. That’s the biggest mistake the leadership, fan base and management can make. When we finally got back, we believed we should be there and it cannot be understated. Not like Luton, getting too big for their boots and playing terrible football. Just keep picking up good points here and there, don’t get too up or too down. We had a cracking first season, were not quite ready and had a poor season last season. Just believe you should be there. Compete like you have been and you’ll be fine. New ground coming for you also too so it’s only up from here. Your no longer a league 1 side, your a championship side now, go prove it
As a Sunderland fan. I felt for Oxford fans. We were good, perfect game management by us for once. Oxford however, went 2-0 down and played like they were 2-0 up. Oxford sat back and defended and let us control the game. That isn't want you wanna see. Good luck. Always liked Oxford.
Safc fan: I wouldn't take too much from this game. They've struggled in some games, but Saturday's game, they were in the zone, on form and they'd have hurt anyone. Good luck with the rest of the season. I've become a bit of a convert to Oxford this year and i hope you do well.
Lets put it in perspective we have the lowest budget in the league and have 8 players out injured. Yes Sunderland were very very good and we were well below our best.
Could you help us win promotion Lord And gain entry to the Prem, Could you arrange the seasons fixtures Lord So, we play every game at yem, Can i have one more wish Lord I hope it's not to much hassle Could you put our neighbours in the bottom three And relegate Newcastle.
