Takes me back to being a teenager, playing rock band with my sisters. We’d always fight over who played what, now all I can hear is all of us singing together whenever I hear this song. Forever grateful for my childhood
I don't think parents understand that, out of all our phases, panic! Isn't a phase. That sticks with you for life. After a few years and you forgot about panic! If a song comes on the radio, you're gonna jam.
So you try to tell me you used to listen to it a lot, then forgot about it but now whenever you hear it you still like it ? Thats literary the deffinition of "a phase"
It even influences my music taste to this day. Pretty odd got me into psychodelic pop and I continued that with "the Young veins" (what Ryan and jon did after panic!) And went from there with the brobecks ( the band run by dallon weeks before he joined)
These were happier days for PATD. Just an incredible band that caught lighting in a bottle yet not all the founding band members realized that at the time. I see a lot of similarities with the Beatles yet PATD did not have a Brian Epstein. Instead they had Pete Wentz, who is brilliant in his own regard, but not a force that was needed to maintain balance, harmony, and sometimes discipline to keep things together. I use to feel sorry for Ryan Ross but not anymore. He is a very talented song writer and artist but comes up way short of being a lead singer and front man. Ross is no John Lennon. He made some very poor decisions that I am sure he regrets now. What made Panic work? This is where the magic and talent of Brendon Urie takes over. He is now carrying the torch for what is left and doing a great job of maintaining their legacy.
Panic wouldn't exist without Ryan Ross. Not only was he one of the two "founders," he also orchestrated most of the lyrics for Fever and P.O. Not to mention his post-split endeavors, such as TYV and his solo work. TYV, unfortunately, came to an end, but the music that he and Jon were able to produce at the time is masterful both lyrically and musically. If you like the sound of "Pretty. Odd." and "the Beatles." Brendon's most recent album was really successful, both objectively and emotionally. However, he actually wasn't responsible for most of the production/songwriting. This is quite different from Ross's more intimate process. PFTW was definitely impressive, but it didn't all come down to Urie's work. Brendon's vocal range and style are definitely mindboggling. He has a beautiful and full stage voice. He's fucking incredible. Still, there's something so unique and charming about Ryan's voice. He sings a lot in Fever era performances, such as the "Nothing Rhymes With Circus" Tour. I think that's what it's called. His vocals have changed a lot over the years. In the early days, it was very open and boyish, and I think it really complemented Brendon's equally unique voice. Later on, Pretty. Odd. era, his stage participation was much more limited, so his voice is a little more difficult to pinpoint. Instead, we can turn to many of the studio recordings of "alternate versions." Behind The Sea is a great example. Ross's voice is much less powerful, and it takes on a reedy, more soft feeling. This sort of carried on through the split and into Take A Vacation. Last point. I promise. I'm not sure which lyrics on Pray can be attributed to Brendon himself, but many of the best lines included (The Overpass, for example) are strongly reminiscent to Fever themes. It's like he knew the band was better then. The album was very nostalgic. This shit is hard to make connections to because B didn't write most of it. So don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy post-split Panic songs. However, I do disagree with your view that Brendon was somehow the backbone of the band. I think the split was good for everyone involved. Brendon took the vocal talent, Ryan took the poeticism of pre-split albums. I think Panic was better with four members (not 5, Brent was really unnecessary haha), but the individuals were better as exactly that. Btw "creative differences" my ass stop being shady pls thanks
I'm crying, I'm happy for Brendon new music but I miss the "who's panic! at the disco" i just miss it everyone now is just "omg i love brendon he's so hot" I miss the unique odd type videos and song names i miss ryan and spencer and jon I miss them y'know

At least Brendon is happy doing what he loves and singing what he loves.

Back to the streets where we began Feeling as good as lovers can, you know Well, now we're feeling so good Pickin' up things we shouldn't read It looks like the end of history as we know It's just the end of the world Back to the street where we began Feeling as good as love, you could, you can Into a place, where thoughts can bloom Into a room where it's nine in the afternoon And we know that it could be And we know that it should And you know that you feel it too 'Cause it's nine in the afternoon Your eyes are the size of the moon You could 'cause you can so you do We're feeling so good Just the way that we do When it's nine in the afternoon Your eyes are the size of the moon You could 'cause you can so you do We're feeling so good Back to the street Down to our feet Losing the feeling of feeling unique Do you know what I mean? Back to the place, hey Where we used to say Man it feels good to feel this way Now I know what I mean Back to the street, back to the place, Back to the room where it all began Back to the street, back to the place, Back to the room where it all began 'Cause it's nine in the afternoon Your eyes are the size of the moon You could 'cause you can so you do We're feeling so good Just the way that we do When it's nine in the afternoon
Nothing is better than hearing this song and immediately thinking back to the time me and my friends would play this song daily on rock band til the point that no matter who was lead or playing guitar/drums would sing this shit with everything we had in us Man what it would be to be a kid again
I feel like he does he probably misses back then with Ryan And everyone else of course He probably comes back and watches these for old times sake every once in a while
I want to understand why? Why is the phandom into the bandom & why is the bandom into the phandom??? I first heated this is gospel but I wasn't really part of the bandom, but then I was in the phandom & then I was in the bandom. But I didn't fall into the bandom because of the phandom. One day I was just sort of there and then noticed everyone around me. Same with a friend.
+Alitzel Ortega My theory is because the people who enjoy Dan and Phil are usually more open minded and can relate to dan and phil. They don't just want these 2 perfect people to look up to, they want poeple who have made mistakes and still found their own way to make life amazing. And that is why the music of the emo trinity speaks to them: they all started from the bottom but by making something they genuenly love doing and not changing themselves for any one, they have gotten to live their dreams.
I'm honestly convinced that this entire era was just one big hallucination

Takes me back to being a teenager, playing rock band with my sisters. We’d always fight over who played what, now all I can hear is all of us singing together whenever I hear this song. Forever grateful for my childhood
Rock Band was way ahead of its time bro
This right here. I was introduced to this song playing RockBand with amazing people. Forever the memories will live of simpler times
Are we all gonna act like we didn't see Brendon didn't vacuum his bed at 1:21?
Gøt!Seventeen Suga Kookies he did?😂

That's way down the list of weird things he's done
We are because we can.

Only P!ATD does this shit.
Don't forget that the ballad of Mona Lisa is the bride killing Brendon from I write sins not tragedies

Brendon: Flipping fire extinguisher

Normal People: vacum standing up with out singing into a camera
Brendon: vacum laying down singing into a camera

The best game ever is to scroll down until you can only see the edge of the video, pause randomly and then scroll back up. I was dying for 15 minutes.

Thats literary the deffinition of "a phase"
literally every single thing that you do in your life is a phase by definition
It even influences my music taste to this day. Pretty odd got me into psychodelic pop and I continued that with "the Young veins" (what Ryan and jon did after panic!) And went from there with the brobecks ( the band run by dallon weeks before he joined)
why do you think they still listen to the beatles?
Literally been listening them for a solid 12 years now.
thank you panic at the disco, for all the good times you gave me listening to your songs, you never let me down
This is the best way to start off 2018
yes, yes, y e s
I agree
LMAOOOO😂😂😂
Stephanie Nelms lol
Richard Dowdy (,:
Richard Dowdy please tell me more! I'm intrigued
Nowhere near this kind of stuff though
P!ATD*
Panic wouldn't exist without Ryan Ross. Not only was he one of the two "founders," he also orchestrated most of the lyrics for Fever and P.O.
Not to mention his post-split endeavors, such as TYV and his solo work. TYV, unfortunately, came to an end, but the music that he and Jon were able to produce at the time is masterful both lyrically and musically. If you like the sound of "Pretty. Odd." and "the Beatles."
Brendon's most recent album was really successful, both objectively and emotionally.
Me: **Watching this in 2019**
Also me: ''Man it feels weird seeing Brendon with this emo long hair... :/
Not gonna lie I miss his emo hair😂
Psssh 2019...
Before anyone knew about the forehead

MAN IT FEELS GOOD TO FEEL THIS WAYYY
Farewell Panic, your music has meant a lot to me, and so I'm here to say goodbye and thank you for the music.
Take a moment to admire the beauty of everyone's mustache.. oh and Brendon's hair..
BRENDON LOOKS LIKE DAN HOWELL

There are two types of emo parades
Aakustyka lmao
One kills me, and the other one still kills me but in a more painless way
Odd ones and black ones
...and this is the better one
I like the other parade better...but I also like thus band better
Why does every time brendon sings "And your eyes are the size of the moon" Ryan would came into shot.
sass_ur_ass maybe the sun and moon reference...hmmm
Ask the director, it's not like Brendan Urie is responsible for all the camera shots
@@xxTreyLightningxx brendon*** and this comment is just a joke

I was thinking the same thing. The only two parades I would join.
I'm crying, I'm happy for Brendon new music but I miss the "who's panic! at the disco" i just miss it everyone now is just "omg i love brendon he's so hot" I miss the unique odd type videos and song names i miss ryan and spencer and jon I miss them y'know
ryden is real but frank isnt PREACH
Ahh me too, I miss this so so much
ryden is real but frank isnt you a smart sister
Yeah... I just came to the fandom this summer but all I see in the comment sections of videos is 'Omg he's so hot/cute!' I honestly want to see comments actually talking about the music its self and not how good looking the lead singer is. And I too miss their old videos. At least Brendon is happy doing what he loves and singing what he loves.
@@Empty_Echo me too! I'm new in the fandom, but after searching more about panic! At the disco, i miss the old one but still i love and support P! ATD now. Im still hoping for a chance to somehow they will reunite again.
I hate when it's nine the afternoon and your eyes aren't the size of the moon
Mj Penguin but your brains the size of a pea 😂
But for Brendon his foreheads the size of the moon, and that never changes
Mj ikr and when you could cause you can but you don't
it should be 666 on emperors new clothes!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes I forget these guys started out 20 years ago. They’ve just always kinda been there through my life. Crazy.
Brendon reminds me so much of a cross between danisnotonfire and Anthony from smosh in this video !!!!!
Omg YAAS
Agreed so they are all so sexy

+Tree For Hire Games You should feel lucky to join the bandom so early! Back to the streets where we began
Feeling as good as lovers can, you know
Well, now we're feeling so good
Pickin' up things we shouldn't read
It looks like the end of history as we know
It's just the end of the world
Back to the street where we began
Feeling as good as love, you could, you can
Into a place, where thoughts can bloom
Into a room where it's nine in the afternoon
And we know that it could be
And we know that it should
And you know that you feel it too
'Cause it's nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could 'cause you can so you do
We're feeling so good
Just the way that we do
When it's nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could 'cause you can so you do
We're feeling so good
Back to the street
Down to our feet
Losing the feeling of feeling unique
Do you know what I mean?
Back to the place, hey
Where we used to say
Man it feels good to feel this way
Now I know what I mean
Back to the street, back to the place,
Back to the room where it all began
Back to the street, back to the place,
Back to the room where it all began
'Cause it's nine in the afternoon
Your eyes are the size of the moon
You could 'cause you can so you do
We're feeling so good
Just the way that we do
When it's nine in the afternoon
Ooooow thanks )))
Thanks
i love you oh my god
Nothing is better than hearing this song and immediately thinking back to the time me and my friends would play this song daily on rock band til the point that no matter who was lead or playing guitar/drums would sing this shit with everything we had in us

The best Beatles song that Fab Four never wrote. This song is a miracle. Never fails to make me cry happy tears. Thanks for the music guys.

Phandom=Emo Trinity
You know it's not a lie...
Y.E.S.
And that is why the music of the emo trinity speaks to them: they all started from the bottom but by making something they genuenly love doing and not changing themselves for any one, they have gotten to live their dreams.
;)
My bad
His voice just makes me so happy
We didn't know but this was the peak of music
