Unsent is one of my very favorites by Alanis. I hope she plays it on this tour. I get to see her June 16th on Father's Day with my daughter. I'm excited!

lol this was 9 days before I joined the Navy! Been listening to Alanis since my senior year of high school, 1995! I didn't see her live until 2021....flew to las vegas from san francisco....but she was everything I hoped she would be! Amazing woman and profoundly beautiful! Still, in 2023! 😲

There was a long period where I thought "You oughta know" and her other work was all I knew. I'm within 2 years of her +/- age and lately I've been revisiting all these artis like Alanis, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Radio Head, Marcy Playground....just endless bands I can't even list....Pearl Jam, AIC, Mad Season.....I mean anyone in the 90's in the peak hitting 20 in 95' was deep into all of it. It was so odd, it was passing me by, then hitting 2000 and some shit like "ooh wah ah ah ah" was coming out lol.....Disturbed. That whole 2000's scene was so weird.

Alanis changed so much musically from 1990 to 1995.....did Glen Ballard teach her to write from the soul? 'the real Alanis?'
she was already doing that apparently, and it's part of the reason MCA dropped her. Glen seems to have just been a great catalyst.
