I am prospective graduate student from Mumbai who is looking forward to apply to UTA for MS in CS Spring-2020 season. Their courses looks pretty good on website also I heard that UTA and UH are pretty good for DB systems and involve in lots of research in same domain which includes modern big data and cloud computing as well, whats your take on that as current MS student ?
@@Farahat1234 I am in Mumbai only working for fintech startup and have dropped MS plan since I have got some horrible news like too much Indians creating overcrowded mess situation in most of US universities (except likes of caltech, MIT and Ivy league), getting job after MS is piece of cake for CS guy if you are talented coder and has been diving deep and exploring new depths of open source ocean but get ready to stuck in green card backlog which is getting worst as day pass by, one of my brilliantly talented cousin from Pune got his green card application approved through NIW after completing MS with thesis option from one of the high ranking university he still have to wait like 70-100 years to get his green card !!!!! the only advantage he has is freedom to change job as per his wish since he is not bound to a specific employer. Good luck with your future plans, I didnt meant to discourage you but thats just my honest unbiased opinion. You may contact fellow MS students through FB, Linkedin, Quora for more in depth details.
dude ur teaching is really awsome .....kal mera paper hai advance dbms ka and we all know reference books sucks ..i mean 1094 pages ki book really hard to read ..this video helps me alot ...thanks a lot ..u teach way better than my professors.
I am a student of LIS and we too have Computer-related topics to study. But our professor never made us understand these topics so smoothly. Every time he used to give us questions to solve without taking any help. I used to bunk the classes for this reason. But the way you are explaining things is amazing man. I think i should go and suggest our HOD to hire you as our professor
