Oh my heart...poor Blackie!!! One of my doggies had to wear the cone of shame and wouldn't move, similar to what Blackie is doing. I ended up putting one of those inflatable travel neck pillows around his head instead of the cone because he could rest his head on it like a pillow. I basically jaw clipped the two ends together around the backside of his neck. I think the pillow also worked better because it didn't change his sense of hearing the way the echo-y cone did. Here's hoping Blackie heals quickly. In the meantime, all my love to your sweet baby!!!

@@risewisewest3401Hello! If you go online you can buy one for dogs. There are inflatable ones and foam ones just like a neck pillow. It's a good thing to have on hand when you have dogs. I have 2 little Shih Tzus and I keep one of those on hand just in case 😊

Hey Tabitha! My puppy did the same thing when he had to wear a cone. He refused to move for a few days, but eventually, he started to walk again. Dogs like to play mind games with us so we can feel sorry for them; dogs refuse to move with the cone because they want us to remove it, but we must not give in! Don’t worry, he’ll start to move again! I will keep him in my prayers for sure! 🙏🏾♥️

Omg!!! My mama's boxer Niqo is dealing with this EXACT thing. So Niqo went outside to use the restroom and came in scratching his irritated eye. My finally took him to the vet and he has an eye infection from maybe getting his eye punctured. He's on eye drops and antibiotics and has to go to the eye specialist next week. He's miserable too have to wear his collar. Y'all pray for Niqo & Blacky 🐶🐶🐶 They are healed by His stripes. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏

What a cutie pie. You can get a more functional cone made out of softer material & a velcro closure. It's more comfortable for them to lay down and sleep' and just get around. I bought mine from Centinela Pet Feed. I hope you Fur baby feels better soon.
