- The Viking made some updates to Black Betty (06 Honda TRX450R) in order to get the advantage on the XC course. In this video he tests the Rekluse Radius X Clutch and new OBOR Advent tires.

What model of rekluse that can still provide engine braking while downhill ? i want to get rekluse for my excf but if there is no engine brakes it may feel weird riding a 4stroke that has no engine brake.
Added to the wish list! Hot starting a 450r is definitely frustrating and under pressure of a race has got to be stressful! Keep up the good work boys!

I've been running a recluse for about a year now one thing i did that really helped recently was go up one tooth on the rear its not much but it give you just enough pop back. youll find yourself riding in a higher gear once you get used to the auto clutch

With the auto clutch, do you have to let off on the gas a bit to shift gears? Or can you shift without letting off?

Now ur talking. If I was to get another 450r a rekluse clutch would b the first thing I would buy for it.
With the stalling issue I noticed with mine it was easier to get it restarted by putting it in neutral rather than trying to start it in gear.
I took that clip from his race last year, he replaced that clutch after that race and it started easier.. No issue now tho
Let us know how it holds up. I hear these can sometimes be a pain due to required adjustments.
It’s a similar mindset to checking something like your chain tension or tire pressure… takes 10 seconds, do it before each ride, and you’re good to go. If one day you check it and it needs adjustment, it’s a simple cable adjuster or hydraulic slave cylinder adjuster.
i tried to find a rekluse auto clutch system but when i got to add to cart it says it wont fit my 2024 yfz 450r what can i do?
If you're buying one for the yfz450 just make sure it's a clutch that fits a late model (2022 or 2023).. More than likely the website hasn't been updated to include model year 24.. But they haven't changed. That's very common when you get a new machine very early in the season
Is the clutch hard to pull? My buddy installed the radius x on his raptor and it is ridiculous! I don’t feel that should be normal. What do you guys think? Thanks!
No the clutch pull was the same.. Maybe he over tightened something 🤔
Bought a Yamaha yfz450r from my buddy with the radius x. Clutch pull is insanely hard. He says it’s normal and there is nothing you can do about it. You guys know anyone with a yfz that has one? Anyway thanks!

How do you like the trx compared to a yfz
In stock form they both have downsides.. I think the YFZ has better potential as a race build. Really depends on what you're doing with them.. As trail rigs, neither were ever as good as a kfx or a Raptor. But if you're racer I'd give the nod to the YFZ

Honda came with the wrong pilot jet, my buddy would kill his battery during rides stalling and trying to restart. Are honda dealer finally found that out. 2006 btw
So basically it’s making it automatic transmissions?
More like clutchless.. You still shift, the biggest advantage in racing is that it won't stall at low RPM, but you still downshift to stay in the torque and you can still use the clutch to control power and smooth out the shifts..
