Excellent video-- helps a lot before getting started on assembly. Two things I liked best are the fact he doesn't exactly follow instructions and how he balances that base and the completed chair on the cart, which is way too small for this procedure. Anyone with mechanical skills will find this is all they need for assembly but others will likely need written instructions. And selecting the size of the tool to use should be as easy as it gets - really. Thanks to Vyper for creating these videos for all of their products as they are very helpful and build anticipation while in transit during shipping.
A few things, here. Thank you for putting this video out. It would have been nice to start the video with a list of tools needed so I didn’t have to fast forward through the video before I even open the box, looking for the tools needed. A “T Handle is better.” What size? Second. The tool tray install and even the big boy pads. Kit this thing out in one video.
I like the part where he says "voila - the wheels are on" because they are a real bitch to install. He conveniently doesn't show those steps. This is far from "easy" and way longer than a "15-minute" assembly. You also have to assemble the locking casters, which is not mentioned at all. In general, the chair is hard to assemble and requires a lot of tools. Shop chair? You better have a shop full of big wrenches and sockets. And even though power tools are "not recommended", good luck getting this put together without them. Written instructions are poor throughout. For this much money - a LOT more of this chair should come pre-assembled - the entire leg assembly for instance. Sad to say, I've seen much more user-friendly design coming from overseas manufacturers. It will be sturdy, no doubt, if I can ever get it put together. Not happy right now.

Not enough detail and should have an option to install the tool tray.
Agreed
