With the start of 2025 come many promises and opportunities to make this year one of the best yet! For me, that means showing up more on UA-cam and giving myself the chance to be seen trying even when it's not "perfect." This year will be a year of intentional growth and embracing my journey at every point! I am here with Episode One of "The Journey Diaries," a vlog series of a non-aesthetic Black girl taking up space and practicing in real-time. This is a creative vulnerability project, stepping outside my comfort zone and into my zone of trust in myself and the nature of creativity. Not only that, but this is a practical way to capture my creative journey as a graduate student, researcher, writer, and creative being!
Thank you for being here to witness my intentionality and embodiment journey! I appreciate your support from the bottom of my heart! Together, we will journey and enjoy all that life has to offer to those who bravely go confidently in the direction of their dreams!

I think you've made a great point and a good plan as to how to approach your inquiry. Do the audit. Write out what it is that you want out of the program and what you want to contribute to this program of study and/or the field itself. When you finish the journaling, walk away from it. You'll get the guidance you need and seek.
