Dear Sarafina, 7 years ago i am learning needle felting as your videos. Now i make needle felting curse in our church workshop. Thank You very much, your video- instructage are very inspirratif.
As a relatively new felter, who has checked out a lot of sites that have wool. I have to say that I found Sarafina prices to be reasonable. Especially when I considered the quality of the materials, the vast amount of talent and knowledge she and her staff has, and her amazing generosity. Never have I run low or out of materials in any of her kits. Not only that if you look at the time effort and energy she and Kyla have put into the numerous tutorials that go with the kits which they provide free of charge then the kits are a bargain!
i order my fibres from Sara and they come all the way to me in Australia...why...because they have the closest consistency to animal pelts and ive been felting creatures for 12 years now so the colours she offers are purrfect. I also sell NZ Ashford and while great for spinners n wet felters, there is nothing like a Sarafina top coat. The time and effort thats gone into creating the 'Sarafina pallet' for us customers is unmatched. Customers always love her kits because you get the tutorials with them free and plenty for a start. Ive enjoyed every aspect of watching Sarafina Fibre Art grow and share all they do and we LOVE supporting this type of personal business grow even more...LOVE you crew x
The supply packs are value for money, but if you choose, you can make the lion using any old wool roving. Sara Renzulli has generously shared tons of her skills and expertise with fellow crafters and I for one think your comment (rip-off )is not justified. The free to watch videos are an inspiration, she is a wonderfully creative artist and teacher and is loved by many across the globe.
Well, look at this.....my favorite felting needle artist who inspired me to try needle felting for the first time is doing a tutorial on making a lion WHICH is the first project I've ever tried and am in the middle of doing right now! :) And it's about the same size as the one I've started. Yours looks much better than mine but just looking at it I can see ways to improve on what I've started. So much luv and appreciation for what you do Miss Sara! Thank you!
Amazing. Sara you are so talented! I'm working towards the Eweniversity (?) tutorials, I expect I will be there soon! Can't wait to do the lion, want to make one in memory of Cecil so I will probably order extra of the black alpaca. Thank you for all the videos, they are inspiring and so helpful. You are an amazing artist! And I love Milo (Kyla) - the interaction between the two of you really makes the videos even more fun to watch.
Stunning, Your work is amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing your immense talent with us, you're an absolute artist, i can't say enough, I'm still going to do the camel next, but this lion is on the schedule!!!!
Sara these lions look absolutely amazing! I want to learn how to needle felt but I haven't had the chance to. Perhaps when or if I start and get good I can come back to this. :)
So jealous of your huge amount of supplies behind you! Buying felting wool is a nightmare! You get a range of colors in one pack online, but only get about 3 grams per color! Runs out very quickly. Jealous of your skill too, your tutorials were the first I really watched when I started needle felting. Even though I don't follow all of your techniques, I learned a lot from watching you :)
He does look fun! Of course when you do it, it looks easy! Sara, you mentioned at the end about maybe making the feet bigger, is that longer or wider than in the instructions on the DVD?
Sara;....Your Tutorials are Awesome..!!!!! I'm starting a new hobby, and I'm Soo Inspired by your work and lessons; I just wanted to ask; Have you a video on a cat or a dog...Seriously; though, you should make a dvd of your lessons, and I would be the first in line to purchase it..!! Would Love to hear from you; Cheers;
Why are your supply packs so crazy expensive when all they include is the wool roving? $54 for this? You could buy it elsewhere for less than half of that.
+Ferretocious I've done the math on comparing the cost of kits vs. buying everything separately and it's not that much different. Some people like having everything they need in one package. I never felt like Sara was ripping anyone off, her prices are more than fair!
Ferretocious, It's likely you are not familiar with Sara, her shop or the fact that she has given her time and energy into making countless FREE tutorials, otherwise you would not have put such a mean spirited post here. Her wool is unsurpassed in quality and consistency and there are those of us worldwide who are willing to pay what WE feel is a reasonable price for that. If you are not, then by all means purchase anywhere you like and you will STILL be welcome to follow her many on-line classes and pay nothing for them. Your rudeness was uncalled for!
+stella kuris I just don't like to see people getting ripped off. I'm a felter and I buy roving that is probably just as good quality as hers is the comes all the way from Europe and I pay less than half of what she charges. This is a public video and I have as much right to post my opinion as anyone else does. someone new to felting might think this is how expensive it costs and be turned off by it. It's bullshit how much she is ripping people off.
I think Sara's kits are reasonably priced. It would likely be more costly to buy all the individual roving colors. Sara provides so much free of charge. Her videos are wonderful and what got me started as a felter. She is not ripping people off!

250$
WOW! So real!
Amazing
Where can i buy the materials?
+Silviaaa G its in the description
same
And I an a really big fan
WHY DOES SHE HAVE A PUPPET???
BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME
Milo is the best! My question is why would she not?
Because she can! Besides, this is a fun craft and Milo just adds comedy and cuteness to the videos.
I don't think Milo would appreciate being called a Puppet.
When one can have a puppet, I say opt for the puppet.
look cool
On the front picture, I thought it was real lol
Who the puppet

+Sara Renzulli Not my point. My point is you shouldn't rip-off fellow crafters so ridiculously.
