- So, this is cool! I was pretty surprised by this rig, its fast, huge, and somewhat scale for a lexan truck!

Would love to see a hardbody version of that body with a flatbed, setup as a welding rig/tow rig
To avoid the lexan rattle I will use Gorilla Tape and line the underside of the body. It mutes most of the rattle and will keep wires and fasteners in place, as well as reinforce corners where the lexan became thin when formed. BTW, love the channel.
Shoe Goo for the same.
Spraying bedliner also works
I gorilla tape the inside of Lexan bodies to stop the rattles and eliminate the tin can sound it also strengthens the body and lessens the chance of it cracking

Soldering is so much more difficult than it looks. It is cool to watch a master solderer work. They make it look easy. Not as much as a master welder but still wicked cool!😎👍

Def do not lower it. It would be great as a tow rig. And the recover on the front would be a great mount for a remote mount winch. Some regular wheels would be nice too. It scoots on 3s! Thanks for the honest review.

I would like to see the F-450 with a hard body, and more factory sized wheels on it, I'm not into the massive wheel, rubber band tire look. I just like my hauling trucks to have some meat to the sidewalls of their tires.
Having seen custom Tamy F-250 based crewcab duallys, I'm happy with lexan on a true 10th scale F-450! Means it's humanly affordable and doesn't weigh as much as some small planets (or my tanks)
RC Tanks and Trucks Australia used a Tamiya 1/14th Big Rig fifth wheel on a strip of alloy between the rear body mounts, and added a goose neck militetry trailer and swapped the gearing round for torque not speed and it pulled him on the trailer looked good, use oven cleaner on the wheels it will remove the anodising on the wheels get the spray on and mask your tyres off or add vaseline to the tyres as masking don't leave it on long just rinse off if not quite done repeat.
I use small 'O' rings under the body on the post's some I add above the body.
I think my biggest issue with it is for the price. I could be really close to a hard body dually f350 highlift based truck especially with the cost of the clones now . I mean seriously a smart shopper could do so for right around that 450 range . That's not counting the resale cost I get on everything I didn't use . IE cab bed chassis rails battery tray front bumper tires wheels etc . Once you sell all the un used you would be setting pretty plus have a hard body hauler . Still cool truck and great review . Just my 2 cents is all.
be sure to tighten sway bar grub screws in the end of bar or metal toothpick looking thingy falls out and sway bar no worky anymore

It’d be cool if you got one of them eBay tamiya f350 hardbody 4 door cabs and dually bed and then make a scale body for this and put that air ride kit on it with a 5th wheel hitch or goose neck and it’d be the ultimate towing competition rig.
I’m editing the air ride video right now. Lol. Unfortunately this is way bigger than those tamiya based super duty bodies. I’m on the lookout for something else for it though.

Never liked anything American Force has come out with, so the wheels would get hucked into the trash first thing. Most people have been going the tow rig build, but I want to try and make a scale version of those Earthroamer luxury overland rigs if I ever get my hands on one of these.
Well the wheels are half the reason people want it cause I haven’t been able to find them for sale anywhere but on the truck

You can get the paint of the windows with a bit of nitro fuel! worked for me on a second hand 1/5th mini body . just try on a hidden bit first.

That’s one cool looking truck, needs your treatment to make it a classic though.... RTR🤔????? How can it be classed as Ready to Run if it has no charger or battery??? That isn’t RTR in my book.

A toy grade 1/6 rc shell might be a good fit. My Fast Lane F350 Super Duty is 450mm wheel nut to wheel nut if that's any help!

What size millimeter hex nuts does it have on the axle, 12 mm? I would change it to a single rear tire and wheel with 2.2, Duratrax Deep Woods CR tires and pre-mounted black/chrome, beadlocks. 4.75 in. tall. Thank you.
It has a standard 12mm hex under the wheel adapter for these duals

Real American force wheels are hot garbage, it's the wheel equivalent of rough country lift kits only over priced. The rc version looks pretty quality though

Another really good video, and great camera work. I think you might not be the biggest fan of lexan, i could be wrong but you might not like lexan.

It's that lets slap a 40" lift kit on this truck, then we'll put the biggest most ugliest wheels you've ever seen on it and just to finish it off well put some low profile tires on it bc, you know screw our overpriced ugly rims. 😂
