Damn! That music gets to me everytime! E.R. in it's primetime was outstanding television.
The writers really wanted to show how much Carol and Doug cared for each other. Every time she would see him upset in season two she would go running to him to see how he was even when she dating someone else. They even kissed a few times. They couldn’t hide their feelings for each other.
Music that makes me remember my life as medical student and later as graduated MD.
Such good and bad memories
Great scene...
great scene. george clooney at his best
Why just music at the end with still frame ?
Yes why Doug made a fool of himself the full 15 seasons and at least they finally got together at the end
Doug was only on for 5 season's, Carol for 6.
So true.. him and carol were soulmates. . Ross left after “the storm” 2 part episode when he helped the mom adjust the machine to give the sick dying boy the pain meds to end his suffering. Then he went to Seattle.. then carol ends up pregnant with the twins.. she left the following season end of the episode after the mom died snd the husband told carol that his wife was his soulmate .. etc.. Ross was her soulmate.. we don’t see them till the final season episode w the transplant from the comatose boy snd susan Sarandon is boys grandmother. Ross was the attending in Seattle and carol was the transplant coordinator.
