      I'm glad he's still smiling after all of that. Hes only 31 and now that he's established himself he can now focus on cleaning up domestically then going again for a world title.

      He was outclassed in every single department, he showed heart but this was one of beterbievs easiest fights and he was the away fighter

      @@jthomas4361 stop it this was harder than his last 3 fights clown😂 he actually hurt beterbiev a few times and made him back up having to use his feet until he recovered. He was working the body well and landed big right hands. Everybody else got mauled and ran the entire time without landing anything decent. That boy felt yardes power and they started talking about how yardes earned his respect. Had em on the ropes unloading on him for a whole round then beterbiev had a 10 second flurry at the end. Wasn't easy at all his eye got split open.

      He did made beterbiev back up but this is because baterbiev is versatile he counter very well on the back foot .

      He did much better than most people thought. Competed but wasn't up to it. Let's not get carried away on both sides he wasn't outclassed but Beterbiev is the better fighter,a well schooled pro but think at 38 he showed signs that age is catching up with him. Bivol with his movement and distance judging beats him handily.

    Incredible fight. I must admit I used to see Yarde as an average fighter but tonight that changed. He showed the skills, heart and determination of a true champion, he will get those belts eventually

    After watching this, I have a lot of respect for Yarde. He's been through a lot of trauma and grief lately with the loss of his family members and he STILL is able to be positive and jovial after a defeat. Hats off. This interview was a breath of fresh air.

      If he switches to Shane McGuigan like Groves did then he has a real shot. Like Yarde, Groves was going into big fights with a towel boy, and getting poor advice in between rounds.

      Kind of agree, but I've watched it a few times... it felt premature. Even if we're adding seconds. This is a unified p4p level fight. At the end of the day, Yarde fights again, I understand tundes decision but slightly disagree. 9 times out of 10 beterbiev brutally ko's him, but that 1 in 10 return left hook changes the fight.

      @@robwood8331 there were 2-3 points in the fight where Yarde clipped Beterbiev that if he connect with 1-2 more heavy shots it's lights out. I agree Beterbiev is levels above and Bivol would also likely beat Yarde on pure skill. My point is that Yarde did wobble Beterbiev more than once and carrying the power he does was 1-2 power shots away from victory more than once. I don't think anyone else has been there with Beterbiev before. Beterbiev is a IMO this biggest monster in boxing, to take that and go on to take his man out. There is no doubt though that at least twice he was holding on for and if Yarde had found the shots I believe he would have taken him out. But there's no "ifs" and so best man won.

    Two Fights at the Elite Level and both times Yarde has imposed his presence upon the opponent.
    Brilliant Effort once again, yes it ultimately ended in defeat but against this opponent even The Mighty Beterbiev was forced to ship some damage . . . this was a Real Fight!
    Respect to both because this fight delivered all out war . . . truly one of the best in a long while! 👊👊💯

    Best fight I’ve seen in a long time. This is what I believe boxing is about. Two warriors going toe 2 toe and giving their all. Massive respect to yarde, he did himself n uk proud. He’s a good fighter , but Beterbiev is an elite operator that showed there are levels in boxing , n tonight, he was a level above. 🥊

    A fantastic and inspirational message. Loved his reality bite thoughts out load, "he hit me back", and "oh uh". Brill that he also highlighted the work he does outside the ring to help others. How many boxers out there are using their platform to promote their boxing related community support they're involved in? He's the first I've heard who promotes their work. Well done. 🦁s in the camp

    Although I knew Beterbiev would knock him out, I give major props to Yarde.
    1. He will fight ANYONE ANYWHERE.
    2. He is a rough and tough out for anybody.
    3. He will eventually get his title. He’s just in a division stacked with talent.

    Guys like beterbiev/kovalev have had double or triple amateur/pro fights than Yarde has had amateur/pro ROUNDS combined. The fact he is even mixing it with these guys at this stage of his career is admirable. World champion in the future for sure

    I saw coments saying how can he smile after defeat but I feel the sportsmanship in this guy is on another level people cannot understand. Yarde showed how much he really wanted it, and no doubt gained power from this bout, heart of a lion, im a huge fan.

    All the people saying he was it was going to be light work. Yarde gave him his biggest challenge and for that he should be proud nonetheless. Humble in victory, but humble in defeat as well tonight.
