Rockford fosgate has always been quilty. Kids these days think to beat you have to go as low as possible. Take sundown there really good subs for lows but they don't hit high notes good. Rockford fosgate hits every note and will still go low but it's SQ/SPL together. Even the 19 t3 will hit high notes. You caint go wrong with Rockford fosgate. Now you can go broke but not wrong lol!

It's basically just air flopping as hard as they can get it. I guess that's cool and all. But I want the best to change tones and feel it up and down. Rockford fosgate is straight business.
Very nice set up man. I am a big Rockford Fosgate fan have been since 1999. I have the same subs just 12in. The only thing I would change would be the box. I would build a box that would have a double baffle and make it a ported box. You build or have someone build you a better box ported your shit is gonna be a lot louder, but you did a great job hiding your amps and did a nice clean install. 👍👍
Window creat Rubber seal would help some with the noise but you can't do anything about the glass bowing out from pressure unless u replace it with plexiglass and bolt them in

A little late to the party, but did you compare everything the same but with the subs pointing towards the rear? I have 4 p3 12 I am doing in a suburban, I still use it and don't want to take up all my space, and feel the woofers would ve safer facing up, but how do you know which direction will sound best in a specific vehicle before you build your box? 🤔
I have one P3 12" in Fosgate box powered by Skar Audio P800.1 monoblock with gain at about 1/3 in the trunk of a Dodge Charger and it's more bass than I can handle. I don't know how you guys do it, guess I'm getting old.
I get metal to flex on the cheap, I dont understand the fans, relays, probes and thick wire etc. I just have some cheap pioneer coaxial speakers running off pioneer headunit and they can go so loud. Ive got a pioneer 800w rms amp running off of start battery, stock alternator. Ive just used thin power cable that I use for 3 phase compressors just thin stuff maybe 2.5mm. Australian standards recommend 70mm cable for 100 amps hahaha. Ive got rockford duel p2 premade box (800w rms) and it warps metal no problem. I can see how you could listen to that loud of music for that long to need this kit. I can listen to music for a longtime without the car running and the battery is still full, no troll... Rockford Duel P2 Box - $750AUD Pioneer 1ohm 800w amp - $250AUD Pioneer headunit 2v RCA - $200AUD 4x Pioneer 6" speakers - $120AUD Cable, battery, alternator etc. - Free Thats metal and glass warping for $1320 Australian, thats like $880 US and nothing gets hot. I just wouldnt bump on max or bump hard when its 40 degrees C

Just throwing it out there if you change one of those P3s out for a D4 you can wire down 1 Ohm and really use every bit of that amp. Looks clean as fuck though man!

My lights just started to flicker when I have the volume up. Alternator 130 amp. I have yellow top battery cca 650. P500x1 and P500x2 Rockford amps. 4-P1's. 4 gage amp wire. Any good solutions you can think will solve my situation?
aaron collins are you running both those Amps off one run of #4, is it cca(copper clad aluminium) or ofc ( oxygen free copper)? How large is the run of wire from your alt to your battery?
MrDonkeysBreath I have one 4 gage with a splitter for the power. Not sure what the wire is but I got it at car audio shop and it wasn't cheap. He said it was the best wire. I have stock wire from my alt to my battery. Thank you for replying!!!
I see two general solutions. First off the one i would lean toward. upgrade your alt to 240A+ dropin from singer or mechman with a big three and a new run of 0 gage to your amps. this option leaves head room for later upgrades ect. Second option you get a capacitor, this is the cheaper solution of the two buy far, keep in mined when your buying caps you get what you pay for. would recommend a fosgate one.this option dose not leave much room for expandablity.

Kyle Smith I bought my system piece by piece second hand. only wires, head unit, and door speakers were brand new. Subs and amps I found on a phone app (Offer up) and (Let go). I got them for ALOT less than amazon or ebay. Just make sure they work before you buy them. My setup> RF T1000-1bdcp, 2 Alpine type R 12s, Alpine MRV-F300, 4 Alpine type s 6.5 coaxials, Polk audio tweets in front(Alpine tweets took a shit), Pioneer head unit. Custom vented box currently being built.(current box is falling apart) Hits hard, even with a shit prefab sub box falling apart.
I love my t1000, has a birth sheet of 1515, but on the note of budget bass in high school is to build your own box, I've never used a pre fab. High school wood shop was where I self thought the basics of box building.
if he was wired closer to 1ohm, rather than 3 he'd be able to push them. also it's a sealed box, and a large one at that. my experience with large sealed boxes is it lets the subs flex way too much, I dont know the power rating per ohm load, but he's probably not even using 1000 watts rms between the three

DonkeysBreath Rockford P3 15 are 600 rms if you run them hard with that t2500 I hope you keep a fire extinguisher with you they will catch on fire. look at the birth sheet that came with your amp that amp puts out about 3800 watts rms you can run 4 t0. 15's with that amp.
Damon Smith you must not know anything about car audio. Sorry man has long as your gain is set right with a DD1 or a o-scope you will never blow a woofer. For proof I've ran a P3 15 on a t2500bdcp (2ohm) so yes that sub was getting 3000watts RMS and I bumped the shit out of that woofer. Still to this day I have it in my house pumping 900watts into her never had one issue.

You should have a REAL qualified person to put it in for you. And tuned right. Smoked speakers is you’ve hooked it up/tuned it wrong. Rockford is an incredible company and product to use

Jeff Froment spl is not the hole goal with this build, I prefer sealed but I happened to be running a ported enclosure with my t2 13 atm

6.5 is better than 6x9 better sound from a round speaker.
Voice coils are round,not oval...so sound quality is better with round speakers.

amp is no good at .5 the protection ctt on these t2500 is very good

DonkeysBreath Rockford P3 15 are 600 rms if you run them hard with that t2500 I hope you keep a fire extinguisher with you they will catch on fire. look at the birth sheet that came with your amp that amp puts out about 3800 watts rms you can run 4 t0. 15's with that amp.
Damon Smith you must not know anything about car audio. Sorry man has long as your gain is set right with a DD1 or a o-scope you will never blow a woofer. For proof I've ran a P3 15 on a t2500bdcp (2ohm) so yes that sub was getting 3000watts RMS and I bumped the shit out of that woofer. Still to this day I have it in my house pumping 900watts into her never had one issue.

I’ve never had a bad Rockford product, perhaps you’re not running your gains correctly, or running right power for your speakers, or playing past clipping, or impedance set up wrong on your speakers, or....wow so many mishaps

And tuned right. Smoked speakers is you’ve hooked it up/tuned it wrong. Rockford is an incredible company and product to use
