I always tell my kid that apologies have three parts: 1) You make eye contact. 2) You admit fault. 3) You apologize for the specific thing you did. This security guard is far more childish than my 10 year old, and I wish you'd have pressed charges. The flippant way he said sorry and ran away? He didn't mean a word and was doing his level best to avoid accountability.
Should have stuck with the charges
@@MayberryRebel Dumb as he was, it took a lot for him to do that. I think Jeff handled it correctly.
Humility is the lesson closest to God’s heart. Doing the Lord’s work there Mr Grey, perhaps this will help him later in life.
Thank you Jeff... Way to go! 8:40
Now all we need is for the cops to stop saying 9:10 "Constitutionalist" like it's a bad thing / M.O. / crime.
I hate liars, especially when they’re on video

That apology hurt that guy so much that he was willing to take an assault charge over uttering a few words! Wonder what his road rage looks like.
Probably as bad as his home rage. Wife and kids must live in fear.
@paulwilliams819 someone should check on them, but something tells me he's too stupid to hurt his family. Just tries to exert his "power" over everyone else.

That lying employee should be fired for his language and threats to a public citizen as well as lying to a 911 operator to incite an emergency response.
that doesn't mean they won't see it at some point then get fired for their actions.
Yep, lying to 911 should be a crime.
Then the guard would whine it is because he is black hence the irony.
Also the flagrant racism.
He's just doing what his boss wants, But they'll easily throw him away and replace him if necessary with a clone.
It's shocking how many people get so incredibly triggered by a man doing nothing but holding a piece of cardboard.
yeah, but there are words on that cardboard.
THERE ARE WORDS ON THE CARDBOARD!!

He's a thug for sure. Lying to federal investigators is a crime. It's only illegal to lie to local police when lying about your identity, making a false police report, or when under oath. Otherwise the only consequences for lying to local police is using your lies against you at trial to weaken your credibility to a jury (or judge in a bench trial).

One good cop is not afraid to show himself. He enforces the law and not someone’s feelings. He keeps his ego in check. Great job sir. Thank you for being an example.

That was hard for that man, but he did it! It's anything but pathetic.
@@OldManMuni it's pathetic that he's not sorry for A) Wrongly telling someone they can't stand on a sidewalk. B) threatening someone for not doing what he's asking, as if he has any authority over the public.

@@spamfriedmice4800 It’s pathetic that he lied and told 911 he was threatened. He should be charged with making a false claim. Do you know how dangerous the situation is when police respond to a violent crime in progress?

If anything I'd definitely want to make sure that agreement of apology/no charges & the apology (even if disingenuous & forced) is recorded on multiple devices, so the charges doesn't come back around later. (Even though we know Jeff wouldn't do that out of spite)
He needs to lose his job if he can’t keep his emotions in check. Threatening members of the public with bodily harm is not indicative of the right temperament to be a security guard.
I'm sure his boss would be concerned *because that's gotta be a massive liability for this security company.*
Security guard = observe and report...that's it.
Why don't you call the office there and voice your concerns.
He threatened to beat that 911 operators ass lol. I mean, by mistake, because he's overly emotional, but it's still hilarious.

He's a constitutionalist.... trying to make us violate his rights..... WHAT!!!! That is what they really think about us. Insane.
yeah look at the cop trying to make it a negative thing to use your rights.
Same with those hong kong independence protestors. They just like "violate me harder, motherland"

That attitude is the easy way for them to dismiss auditors and act like they're still morally in the right somehow, play the victim, and then never really learn to do the job right. Typical government club mentality.
Yeah...this is EVERY cop's mindset.... we're trying to MAKE them violate our rights....never once can they just say the truth....that they are trying to see if you're one of the "unicorn" good cops...that do the right thing or not....so even the ones that DO the right thing... apparently still do it for the WRONG reasons. If that's all they can get, better to shut it down and move onto something else.
The bully was so righteously arrogant, strutting in front of the cops. The transformation into petulance as his ego deflated followed by a mumbled apology and a quick, embarrassed exit was so revealing; a petty tyrant exposed and humiliated.

It always gets me when an officer is explaining the guy, who is performing an audit, is there to bait people. No! He is there to defend our rights! He wants to make taking pictures just as normal as eating an apple on public property. People need to start minding their own business more instead of worrying what other are doing.

Some people can't get out of their own way, too proud to apologize
Security Gaurd's ego stopped him from appollogizing, leading to charges??!! What a dope!
He "did" without looking at him in the eyes, or sincerely. Lame lying Snitch.
He apologized and didn't get charged.
"I don't want to be on UA-cam"
Classic.
Sonya never wanted to be on youtube.
Not often that Jeff talks about giving somebody an ass whopping.
I liked that.
Guard kept saying "homeless guy" as if that is a crime.
That security guard needs to be fired because 1 he’s lying about everything, 2 he don’t know what he talking about, 3 he’s very unprofessional, 4 he didn’t even give the 911 operator enough information about what was going on are where he was until after he never said he worked there or anything.
Right on Jeff! That guy got just what he needed, a massive ego crushing!
Thank you for supporting our homeless veterans, and our civil rights, for all these years! YOU are an angel!!
The waffling made of look more like a punk to his friends.
He is a punk.
It's that hard for people to apologize when they are wrong. 🙄
Play stupid games...win stupid prizes! Good on you Mr. Gray...keep them honest!
I'm glad you pushed for an apology, but he did not learn from this. He continued to lie and say he didn't make threats and only half-heartedly apologized when he realized he was in trouble if he didn't.
He said he "was sorry" only to avoid criminal charges!
Maybe/hopefully it’s a seed. Have faith.
he will learrn once the complaints come in
@@pkwentworth It clearly cost him dearly to do that. Dude was on the verge of becoming totally dysregulated. And now all his friends he was so worried about losing face in front of know what a little shit he is.
@@ishowspeedplug2845 No, he won't learn anything. It'll never change from "I was set up, it wasn't my fault."
This is the best outcome. It is not easy to apologize in public because many are not good at accepting an apology. Jeff showed the proper way to insist on justice but offer forgiveness.
That “not a man” almost took charges over 2 simple words. This is what America has become.
The guard has probably never spoken those "two words" before...
@8mondaymonkey That is a certain species of human. Not America.
BLACKITUDE IN ACTION!!!!
@@pacodelahoya2000 yeah but.......dominant species in America. Have you seen the political landscape lately?
Finally. A security guard being held accountable for overreach, threats and bullying. I hope his boss sees the video.
That security guy learned a lot that day. His ego was bruised and battered but he avoided catching a charge. Well done to the cops for being rational and following the law and constitution. A good outcome all round. Another win for the GOAT👍
The guard learned nothing
He will absolutely do it again because nothing really happened to w
Learned nothing. Only worried about his stupid friends opinion.
Within 15 seconds of the cop getting out of his car, the security guards ego was completely _deflated_ by learning that Jeff was on a public sidewalk.
By making the boy choose between charges and apologizing, you helped him grow a little. Good on you.
