I fully agree with Zaheeruddin bhai...Alfa was at least good 4 to 5 years back but now their Biryani is west. We used to bring Biryani from Alfa and recently found 2 times I found it was rotten and one time taste is worst. Belive their Chef is changed or something happened.

You missed the famous Double ka meetha and Qubani ka meetha. Shikumpur is made of cooked beef and Chana dal with onion and hara masala stuffing.

By the way the Shikampur I ate as a child had a center filling of chopped onions, cilantro, mint and lime juice surrounded by the cooked minced meat of shaami. Other similes are the paneer filling in aloo paneer tikki and the center boiled egg in the Nargisi kofta. Miss Hyderabadi food!

The best food in india you find in hyderabd Sir you have missed many dishes like Mandi and in sweets like gaddu ki kheer Rabdi kheer and marag (the goat soup) the paya boti many delicious dishes you did not tasted.

Qubani ka Meetha is from Afghanistan. Hyderabad is not a producer of Qubani. Afghan pathans used to bring dried Qubani from their to make it.

@@sandeshreddy5347 I am Hyderabadi and this Qubani ka meetha was originally derived from Afghani Qubani Murabba. Qubani grows in abundance in Afghanistan and northern Pakistan they even cook with apricot oil. That’s how recedes are created from cultures. Even Haleem is originally from middle east!
