I believe that once two agree to get married, God hears and blesses them. Other parties are important too but the most important covenant is that of the two people. Signing a paper from the government is just for legal purposes.

Thank you Rawder for this video. Fascinating story. In addition to taking the pastor's blessings, I would say they should have to done a civil wedding, and at least seen their parents. I don't know if a bride price is obligatory in Kenya but before living together, I think they should also have gotten a blessing from their parents in a sort of private ceremony.
