Like because he’s the highest rated Star Wars channel he thinks he can do whatever he wants? Nah not cool in my book, just doing outstanding actors and voice actors out of a job with what he did
They should have picked one thing to adapt and not do Legends-with-serial-numbers-filed-off as if we're stupid and they're greedy enough to not pay the book authors their due.

Not saying he would do that. but you as a star wars fan putting aside your differences to genuinely react to something. and giving him some credit for the work. ultimately. your feedback is genuine and you laid out the criticisms fairly. a lot of other fan film productions. you see and feel the passion that goes into their work. with this. it could have been 3D animated along with impression voices similar to battlefront 2 cinematics. or if he was going with this motion comic feel. maybe actually hire some animators and artists to bring it to life more. You, Blind Wave and Star Wars Explained have been my go to for Star Wars content and I just love all of your reactions! Also I totally agree. This fan film was so strange! Outside of the Vader fan film I have never really understood why so many people follow Theory. Anyways rock on man.

No shade to the genre of audio story over still shots - there are some great ones. An indie production called Midst comes to mind. They need the audio production to keep your attention and we just dont have it here. I have so many thoughts here, especially considering the usually negative commenter who has put this together ... But I dont want to just sound negative either, the work that was done, and the art we got is better than I could do, but to pop a dead-pan AI cast with a 10 minute exposition ... I mostly stayed to see what your final thoughts would be. I agree.
I dont mind this style of animation and i think its really interesting, not everything has to be over the top. His palpatine voice though, is excellent.
@@KyleKatarnChannel true. When it comes to canon and legends they have their share of good stories and bad stories. I’m able to find enjoyment in both rather than say one is better than the other because that just feels like you’re limiting yourself.

I really like fan films because they feature FAN performances! If I want to see Mark Hamill play Luke Skywalker I'll put on Empire Strikes Back, much preferable to a flat computerized imitation of his voice. You don't need your fan film Luke to be 1000% accurate because this a FAN FILM! Seeing the ingenuity of how fans portray and realize these characters is most of the fun! Don't sacrifice authenticity for a weird digital simulacrum. And yes, a reaction to Pull To The Light is coming soon!

I do understand your preference for traditional fan-made content though, I just value the accuracy and depth that AI voices bring to the production, I guess it's because I like to be immersed, and seing someone else acting like my favourite actor just takes me out of it. @@perssontm1628 Impressionists and actors who can do pretty awesome impressions or have their own spin on the character. Ai is great to get a almost perfect recreation but it lacks the soul and emotion of a real actor, i mean we are already on the path to indistinguishable ai voices. but a lot of people dont do it for immersion or a better experience. a lot of people do it to cut corners and having not to hire capable people. peoples preferences will always be different and i think if AI is done right. theres nothing wrong with it

It's a pretty cool story in a vacuum but doesn't mesh great with the larger timeline, something you could say about a lot of Legends stories tbh

Star Wars Theory does have some sick af cinematics. I think he's making a really high budget Vader Part 2 and 3 fully cgi fan films.
