No it isn't as Netflix are degenerate tossers who will turn it into one of their social-engineering liberal preach platforms and the show already has enough of that, now it will become the main goal...although 'netflix funded creators' claim that netflixe give them a blank canvas and a free hand to pain with, which is obviously bullshite.

That's a fair point, but the show (as it is now) obviously makes more fun of liberal woke concepts rather than promoting them.

The writing for Johnny is incredible. It's as if he has stepped through a time portal into the present day from the 80's, skipping 35 years. It shows just how much he has lived in the past for all those decades, and how time has past him by without him even noticing. Johnny is not just old fashioned, his personality literally hasn't moved with the times at all, because the happiest moment of his life was 35 years ago with Ali, so his mind is always stuck in the 80's, on a continuos loop.

Learn Japanese with N14 -Yes! In my mind and as an 80’s kid, Mr. Miyagi embodied the whole concept of Karate Kid. There is no Karate Kid without Miyagi! Macchio understood that and they did a great job bringing his legacy and honoring his character in Cobra Kai.

Have you see the special feature from Karate Kid? Macchio says how his favourite scene was the one where he puts him to bed and finds out how Miyagi was a war hero. And before the scene ends he bows to Miyagi to show respect to him. Its powerful if you haven't scene it

It does show Morita's impact in that so much of his influence is shown in flashbacks and through Macchio's performance. You can really see the loss in Macchio's face as Daniel that Miyagi's presence is sorely missed. Like any adult feels when they lose a parent or mentor.
