It is just the last part of Hyperia that lets it down. I like that they reference the outer-bank element again by doing a mini version of it at 9:22, I just wish that went into a corkscrew or something that took you back to the station. So close to being a perfect coaster.
Great video! This park looks like it has a great collection of coasters! I enjoyed watching this! I dont have too much free time tonight, ill watch the Dashcast tomorrow night when i have more free time.
1) Hyperia 2) Swarm- I did work on the ride as a ride host for 2 years so am slighlty biased. 3) Stealth- The short ride length does bring it down but the launch is one of the best experiences especially front row. 4) Nemesis 5) Flying Fish- another ride I worked on and was the first ride I did at Thorpe Park so holds sentimental value. 6) Colossus- It has gotten slightly less rough this year compared to previous years but still does rattle alot, the 4 heartline roles are great to experience. 7) Saw- like the theming but it is too rough for me. As a quite skinny person the restraints push down quite alot on me and I end up being hunched over by the end and the drop after the mid-course break run pushes the restraints down way too much for me. 8) Walking Dead- havent been on it since it rebranded from X, and even then it wasnt the most exciting ride.
1: Stealth - The launch is the single most intense element on any coaster i've been on. Been on it over 100 times easily and it always catches me off guard 2: Swarm - Smooth & even though people call it tame, i grey out on it 3: Nemesis Inferno 4: Saw (A bit rough) 5: Colossus - Always come off with a headache Haven't done Hyperia yet :(
You grey out on swarm? That’s insane. The only coaster I grey out on (including hyperia) is Saw and it’s a bad grey out not even during the ride but after the ride in the station.
I kinda grey out a little on the last inversion on Saw but i think i'm just sensitive. The pullout from the Swarm drop just hits me different haha, also the helix / turn towards the end
Been to Thorpe Park for the first time this September. Really enjoyed my visit. I guess save Colossus my ranking is similar to yours. 1 Hyperia - Can't argue with this 2 Stealth - Just a sensation you can't get anywhere else 3 The Swarm - Smooth and intense 4 Colossus - I was surprised how much I liked this 5 Saw - The most complete ride, though I don't like the theme 6 Nemesis Inferior - Even knowing going in it wasn't going to be Nemesis, it's a letdown 7 Walking Dead - Better than I thought but the theming was hysterical 8 Flying Fish - Probably my least favourite powered coaster
I’ve been to Thorpe 3 times now and this is my rankings : 1. Hyperia (obviously) 2. Stealth (the best launch in the world without exaggeration) 3. Swarm 4. Colossus (it’s actually very fun and enjoyable at the front where it isn’t very rough) 5. Nemesis Inferno (Very intense but fun, top 10 B&M invert for me) 6. Saw (Just way too rough, its the only coaster I grey out on at the park) 7. The Walking Dead (great theming just a pretty generic layout - still very enjoyable though) 8. Flying fish
I’m going in easter so exited 😆 Also on colossus for me it’s number 3 but I’ve not ridden Hyperia (which is why I’m going) and it was pretty smooth for me !!
my rankings are hyperia - its just amazing could be a lot better but for the budget given (thank you merlin) its good enough saw - almsot illegal feeling airtime and transitions stealth - the launch is amazing nemesis inferno - pretty whippy, inversions give some odd float that i havent got anywhere else before swarm - ngl its just boring i didnt feel the positives much, the hangtime felt neutered due to the vests WDTR - it was fun surprised with the forces given (it felt stronger than the swarm for some reason ;( )
The further you are seated towards the back of Hyperia, the less you feel those trims, at the front they are too harsh, at the back, you hardly notice them.
@CoasterDash the helix just before the station on Inferno rips my feet off every time, especially on the back haha 😅 never really enjoyed Swarm in the past, much prefer Fenix at Toverland! 😊
Hyperia is impressive. But the big one at BPB makes me smile and laugh more than anything else in the UK for how crazy and rediculous it is 😂❤ it will always be our no.1 🏴
Colossus is painful and boring anyway, it’s below every major coaster on ranking list at 22 (I’ve only gone to Englands parks) Also regarding hyperias trims, it’s kinda sad because everyone who rode it opening day can vouch for me when I say there was barley any trims opening day x
I'm glad you had a great time at this park and hope you visit again. My rankings are 8: Flying Fish 7: X (walking dead) 6: Colossus 5: Saw 4: The Swarm 3: Stealth 2: Nemesis Inferno 1: Hyperia
(Sadly no Hyperia yet) 1. The Swarm, it's a surprisingly forceful ride with great theming for outdoor thrill coaster (when the effects are working). 2. Steath, It's short but sweet. 3. Nemesis Inferno, It's a pleasant ride but lacks energy, It's the weakest non flyer B&M I've ridden. 4. Colossus, I'd say it's underrated, It's actually quite good in the front row, but the 5 heartline rolls are quite uncomfortable. 5. Saw, the theming is great, and the pre lift is creative, but it's too rough to be enjoyable.
Thank you for watching! 🎢

You should still check out the Flamingo Land Resort in Misperton, England, which has a model similar to the Colossus as Sik with 10 inversions.
Sik is better
I’m sure i’ll visit at some point :)
Good, but I preferred Swarm over Stealth (especially riding Swarm in the back right wing seat.) Thanks for posting!
My list:
1. Hyperia

Thorpe Park is well worth a visit!
my rankings are

I was right
You are not missing much with Colossus, it is a scream machine that will make you scream in pain!
The retracked bits are smooth
Been on it recently and they have hardly retracked any.
if you find colossus rough then coasters probably aren’t the right hobby for you….. Sure it’s not butter smooth but it really isn’t that bad
@@William_Does_Coasters2255 they’ve retracked like 2/3rds of it wdym
I will still go on it but it’s not my favourite. I’ve been on better and worse, including Goudurix.
As someone who goes to Thorpe park every few weeks I can tell u it’s the worst of the thrill coasters
For me its
8. Flying Fish
7. The Walking Dead
6. Colossus
5. Nemesis
4. Swarm
3. Saw
2. Stealth
1. Hyperia
@@adamkim4484 Similar to mine!
Nemesis Inferno is better than Swarm & Saw, in my humble opinion, but I respect your choices 😅
@@ThemeParkLuke Fair take!
@CoasterDash the helix just before the station on Inferno rips my feet off every time, especially on the back haha 😅 never really enjoyed Swarm in the past, much prefer Fenix at Toverland! 😊
at least it was only colossus you missed, generally considered the worst of the thrill coasters in the park
Can you 10 coastes in the uk?
Thorpe is one of my favorite parks in the UK, but I have a way different ranking than you, but Hyperia is still the best.
You didn’t miss out on colossus, it’s awful because of the headbanging, you can’t even ride defensively because of how unnecessarily bulky they are
Hyperia is impressive. But the big one at BPB makes me smile and laugh more than anything else in the UK for how crazy and rediculous it is 😂❤ it will always be our no.1 🏴
Do you have advise for me? Am in Virginia, should I come to six flags America or bush gardens willhelmsburge, best regards from Kyrgyzstan!,
Busch gardens, Williamsburg
@@McLovin-jv9mh Busch Gardens Williamsburg would be best! Kings Dominion is also great :)
The harsh trims on Hyperia just prove the layout could’ve been much longer if Thorpe splashed the cash
Went to this park this year and missed on Hyperia because of a rollback, still so upset today
That’s absolutely brutal 😢
There are 6 coasters at Thorpe park
Colossus is painful and boring anyway, it’s below every major coaster on ranking list at 22 (I’ve only gone to Englands parks)

9:05 would you rank it above the mosasaurus roll?
No chance in my opinion, still amazing though
