The point of owning a Mini is individuality, that's what a Mini is all about. Some like to restore, show, drive, collect, modify, or a bit of everything. My point is that not everyone is the same. What is enjoyable to you might not be enjoyable to others. If they want to park it in a garage and take photos I don't see why you need to question that unless they are trying to mislead people i.e. trailering it to a show and trying to pass it off as a daily driver
Classic Mini Workshop I have always said on our channel that you should enjoy your classics, there is no right or wrong way of doing things it’s all about the journey. For us we love last minute drives and exploring as after all it’s why we put so much work into our cars to make them usable. This is what we love.
Pfft bit jealous lads... been tooo long since i took the mini out. Bit of work to do but hopefully sorted for summer. Even if i end up paying for the work to be done! I've said it before but Sams car is a masterpiece.
You will have to join us out buddy. We are planning a proper run out as soon as we can so it would be great to get some of us together for this. If there is anything the sunmc can help with just shout buddy 👍
I live near caton that little village you drove thru at the start! Great mini roads if you guys are about in the spring when my minis back on the road it would be great to tag along!
tommy carradice hey Tommy well sir you live in a stunning part of the world for sure. We are planning some sort of drive out/meet in the future once covid isn’t an issue. So watch this space.
Love the channel! Pity I’m so far down south, would love to be able to tag along... maybe on a future L2B 😁 Random question... I’m looking to covert my 12” wheels to 10’s with the brake conversion kit... did you have to fit lowered shocks so there isn’t a big gap between arches and tyre? Cheers 👍🏻
Hey thanks for that. Well we meet up all over the county so who knows we might set a convoy up. No you don’t have to change your suspension at all if you don’t want to. We ran the conversion kit on our old estate on standard suspension. We have lowered ours because they handle and look better that way like you say gets rid of the arch gap. Thanks for watching 👍
Hi Marc and Sam, a great drive out, and nearly 200 miles is most definitely a good run out! Some great roads too, perfect for the mini's, except for the slow traffic hey 😔 Question for Sam, I too like the Japanese look and am wondering did you spray the checkered section on ya rear valance or is it a wrap?
Do you know what. I hate Jeremy Clarkson and caravans are rarely a problem but Cyclists definately are causing danger to themselves and other road users who pay road tax and insurance.

Indeed just a sheet of vinyl off eBay - you can get loads of different sized squares, so just make sure you measure up before ordering :)
