Hi, I’m late to the party but may I suggest monkey or another cute animal fabric? Hear me out, both genders love monkeys (I loved curious George as a little girl) so you can’t really go wrong there but also the parents might like it because they can lovingly call your grand baby their little monkey. If not monkeys, than what about puppies, kittens, or koalas (I’d pick koala as my second choice)? Puppies are usually not seen as specifically a guy or girl thing plus puppies for your little grandbaby would be cute too. My third choice would be cute little cubs. They are also pretty unisex. Anyways, maybe go fabric shopping to see what options there are from my suggestions.

I love the bag, but when I try to follow the video instructions, it's difficult to see which pieces you are using. They look very close in size. Would it be possible to letter each outer and lining group. Thank you for sharing a lovely free pattern though.

So curious where you get your little leather tags for your bags! I can't tell if you put one on this specific bag, but I love the little "home made" tags! 🥰
you can actually make them. get a metal "homemade" stamp from amazon or tandy, etc. get a permanent ink stamp pad such as "archival ink". get an old leather purse from habitat or the goodwill. cut out the leather tag to your liking and stamp it with the stamp and ink of your choice. punch a hole in the leather tag and sew it on or use dbl cap rivets. boom done. have fun and enjoy! :)

We've taken it on a flight and fit everything they needed and even things I needed. The only thing I noticed was that I couldn't fit their baby water bottles in because I had so many nappies but really that's not a problem, just an observation. Overall super happy with this purchase.

Hi! I noticed on the video, after giving the finished dimensions of the diaper bag, you point to the 1 outer layer fabric, then the 3 lining fabric, then you point to the second item (outer layer). The video shows 12 5/8 × 5 3/4, however the written instructions show 12 5/8 x 2 3/4. Which measurement is correct. Thank you.

Hi! At the 6:00 minutes on the video, you have the 12 5/8 x 7 1/4 and 12 5/8 x 7 1/2 outer pieces. Which one has the rounded bottom and which one has the sewned
bottom. Seeing that the pieces are only 1/4 inch difference, I would appreciate the answer for which piece is what. Thank you
The two fabrics shown in the 6:00 of the video are 11½″ × 6¾″ for the cover and 12⅝″ × 7¼″ for the front pocket. 12⅝″ × 7½″ is the lower part of the back pocket. Thank you.😄🌻
