We present to you Episode 1 of Artists Interviewing Artists, a conversation between two Minneapolis based artists: Savior Allen-Knight, a painter, and Ricki Monique, a musician/poet. Ricki Monique is a Minneapolis based lyricist and performer with her own brand of soulful, spoken word hip hop. Along with being a musician, Ricki also works as an educator and community organizer.

Savior Allen-Knight is a young painter, and educator from Chicago, IL currently residing in MN. His art focuses on storytelling through color and shapes with nuance aimed at inviting black and brown folks experience into the broader ever-changing human experience.
