*”not really a Swiftie” Explanation:
I have MAD respect for Taylor Swift and her musical and performance talent! She is a machine. I don’t know how she does all she does… writes her songs (SO many of them!), sings, performs for 3 and a half hours, travels everywhere, gives money to food banks in all the towns she performs in, helps crowd members in need while performing, plays in rain and wind and cold with her hands cramping, yet gives it her ALL!! She is a phenomenon and deserves massive respect. That said, I’m just not a huge fan of her songs, in general. There are a few I really like, but not many. I don’t really dislike them..I just don’t vibe with them for one reason or another. And that’s okay. This was the 3rd TS concert my daughters have been to and I was thrilled to go to this one with them!

Such an amazing family trip! The countries are so lush & green, full of history & thank you for taking us with you to see places we will never get to visit. Glad Claire recovered & no one else got sick. Those castles are just unreal.I hope you will talk more on a future vlog about it.
It was really wonderful. We were so happy Claire felt much better on day 3 and no one else got it. I thought for sure I'd be next after sitting next to her on the 9 hour plane ride. We are so grateful it all worked out!
Looks like you had a fabulous trip. My father was born in sterling castle. It was used as a hospital during ww2. So glad Claire looked like she was feeling better & was able to enjoy Taylor Swift. Apparently you guys at the concert caused earth tremors that could be felt for miles 🎉. You look like you were about to drive up to my house 😂🏴 Much love & so glad you arrived home safe ❤Xxx

We traveled a lot with them while they were growing up and we all travel very well together. It was so nice they were able to arrange the time away from their lives to be there, too. Loved it!

It was so nice go go along with you and your family. We were stationed at RAF Lake heath AFB for 3 years and traveled every weekend. It was so nice to see places we had been 😊(1998 - 2001) it is so beautiful there still. Thank you for sharing 😊😊

Yes, we were thrilled it worked out that the girls could get off work and go, as well. We traveled so much with them while they were growing up and we are each others favorite traveling companions!

Oh my goodness, Scotland is incredibly beautiful!! We are so glad we got the chance to experience the scenery, the architecture, the history, the friendly people and gorgeous nature! That's funny that we were both in each other's areas at the same time!

Thank you for taking us along Jennifer! I had not been to Scotland for many years. We went to England a few times but only once to Scotland! It is absolutely beautiful there and I was looking around for Nessie at Inverness 🤣😀 Seeing the castle and sheep again was fun fun!
It must also be nice to come back home to warmer weather and be able to peel off some of those layers of clothing!!! You all look fantastic!!
Thank you! I'm so happy we got to see Scotland together and really get a good look at the immense, stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. It was nice coming back to the sun and warmth, but all of us were honestly happy as could be in the wind and the rain there. We don't get to wear sweaters and coats much anymore, and it was nice!

Hi! It was wonderful. We had the best time (except the part when Claire was sick- but she rallied quickly!) My TS outfit was ridiculous, but I did not care one bit. I was perfectly happy, warm and dry. So many girls/women there were freezing, had purple cold legs and were shivering. I wasn't about to do that! That's one of the perks of getting older! We don't care as much about how we look at times like that!

I was excited to watch this video. Will you do a packing video of what you brought? My husband and I are heading there this fall and I’d love some direction.
Thank you! I did not film a packing video this time, mostly because packing was super difficult due to my broken arm. But I have linked the items I wore on repeat and found most helpful. My best advice would be that almost everywhere is very casual and comfortable. Be prepared for rain. Even on sunny days in June it rained off and on several times each day. Wear layers and have something to cover your ears. Prepare to fall in love with Scotland! (It just really helps when you are not cold, wet or uncomfortable!) I hope you have a spectacular trip!!

I had a hot chocolate with scotch last summer. I was on a boat on Loch Ness. It was delicious! I am not a scotch drinker but the hot cocoa was good!
I think I would have been much more likely to enjoy it in hot chocolate!! What a lovely Loch Ness boat trip!

Looks like you had a beautiful trip with the family🙂 we went over to England, Ireland and Scotland a number of years ago and it is just beautiful over there. Such a different way of life. Seems like you covered a lot while you were over there. Thanks for sharing some of your family trip.
Hi Lynn, It really was a wonderful trip. We were in Ireland and England several years ago but had not been to Scotland. I was curious if it would be similar to Ireland, but it definitely has a look and feel of it's own. The Highlands are gorgeous and I'm sure it's even more amazing farther north than we went.
I so envy your trip ❤ I just learned recently that most of my ancestors are from Scotland and pray I will get to go there one day 🙏☺️

Interesting note. There is a place there called Kingdom of Fife. My last name is Fife. My sister toured there and sent me video. Cool to be part of that. I guess our ancestors were warriors.
That's so interesting! Very cool to be part of that. We got quite a history lesson while touring the Dunans Castle area and Culloden Battlefield. There were so many warring clans all over the Highlands. Fascinating and thought provoking!
@@JustJennifer I’m 66 yrs old. I just discovered that place about 7 years ago. My sister lives in Adalaide Australia and she went there last year and face timed me several times while going through Fife and it was quite an experience. Scotland is on my radar. She also picked up our Clan Tartan and it’s a really nice color. What a beautiful video you took!! Thank you

Thank you! She is actually a librarian, but did an archaeology course while at Purdue University. They went with a group from Stanford to dig there one summer. Loved it! She even found a few Roman items.

Jennifer the scenery is just stunning! We’ve been to Italy but I’d love to go to Ireland and or Scotland next. We saw Taylor Swift with George Strait when it was just her and her guitar, she was 16. I took my daughter to see her RED tour. Neither my daughter or I are fans now but she’s really built a big business. Thanks for sharing your trip.
