I live in a small city in Romania just 2 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The Adventist church here is very small, less than 10 people and most are 60+ in age. We will loose our elder in a few weeks as he and his family move and I fear for the future of this church. This sermon gives me hope that if we who remain will continue in fervent prayer, we will get new members and a new elder who can lead the church on all the Sabbaths when our pastor is at one of his other five churches.
Thank you, Pastor Pavel, for your encouraging reminder of the power of prayer.
Those who can, please pray for our little congregation.

Are we all willing to allow 5-6 hours between meals and give up eating between meals? Adam and Eve fell through intemperate appetite. Christ came and withstood the fiercest temptation of Satan, and, in behalf of the race, overcame appetite, showing that man may overcome. As Adam fell through appetite, and lost blissful Eden, the children of Adam may, through Christ, overcome appetite, and through temperance in all things regain Eden. CD 70.1

yea, he is a bit funny on that one. Most people who did that would weigh 100kg by his age, so it doesn't seem to have the impact that it would on most people. Maybe he has worms :). I personally need 3 meals a day on a vegan diet, but my wife only needs 2 because she doesn't do as much physical activity as I do.

@@GodsLastWarning it’s not funny, but serious. “But those who are slaves to appetite will fail in perfecting Christian character.” CD 59.3 in other words, lost. Let’s pray for the helping power of the Holy Spirit to overcome in ALL points.

He has a metabolism problem. It works to fast then normal. His grandfather and father had the same problem. If he doesn't eat something, anything he will start to feel muscles pain all over. He has already bem to the doctors because of this. And for what he say he doesn't need much food. It's not like he has to have big meals everytime.

@@nancypereira995yea, it is like a friend of ours who's daughter is allergic to a lot of different foods, and she needs to eat meat or she will die. It would be wrong for me to eat that way, but for her it is a necessity. The rules are there for the average, and not everyone is exactly the same (EGW says, some do better with a little meat).
