Ok. Heard the "expresso" 3 time to get it if he really said expresso. Every Italien is crying. 😅 But thanks to the French Glow a lot for the work and showing us the Phillips Baristina. Didn't find a German review.
I own one for a couple of weeks now, my problem with the water tank is the opposite, its a bit to hard to take off since it's placed against the wall. My main gripe is that the bean grinder has this convenient bean sized hole in the middle for the grinder. And how slippery it is (i bought an anti slip kitchen mat for it). A couple of adjustments would've been nice to have, but I expect that for a future Baristina+ machine. Having a second portafilter also helps with brewing coffee right after each other. I chose the baristina because I didn't want to be locked in the nespresso (coming from the older capsule types). Baristina is cheaper then most full automatic machines, and it seems to be a lot easier to clean and maintain. And pulling the lever is fun. Edit: the double espresso glass you showed does not fit. The sprout will move and yeet your glass through the kitchen.
I renently bought the Baristina and I love it. The plastic is high grade and the reviewer is off base focusing on it. I enjoy the espresso and lungus coffee so much, I binned my Nespresso Pixie.
@@gigi9467 I have a 1000 times in Italy and here. Have you tasted the Baristina espresso. You might be surprised. I clearly said it was short of A true espresso but so close with no fuss!!!
@@rayrayray haha he he!!! I’m not a Philips bot. It falls behind”real” espresso but for me it is close enough that I am satisfied with it considering how easy it is to use. NO fuss or muss!!
@@gigi9467 I have probably have had more espresso than you have. I have spent more time in Italy than you guaranteed. The Baristina is a bit short of “real” espresso but so good I’m satisfied with it considering how easy it is to use. No fuss or muss!!
one can tell the American reviewer by completely omitting the Baristina’s whole reason d’etre: The fact that it will not produce ANY GARBAGE - but only compostable pads, which can go straight into your flower pot as natural fertilizer - whereas the Nestle product causes huge problems after its use, as it contains both metals and plastics which just hang around in landfills for hundreds of years to come.
If he says "Expresso" one more time... 😂

Nice job showing the entire side by side brew between the nespresso lattissima and the baristina. Nespresso does extract so creamy.
Thank you!

Agreed!
Something must be wrong with your water tank or you are not pushing it hard enough to click in place. Mine sits like a house!
I wonder how the Philips goes versus a Melitta Cafeo Solo. I always wonder where to go when my Melitta will eventually bites the dust...
looks like it would just channel through the center
