Hi your work is awesome. It's great to watch how the different ways you cut hair now ,to how I was taught in the 1970's. I loved the the blonde colour of your client's hair after you used the toner on it. It takes away the yellowness and makes it a more natural looking blonde.

I would have left the lightener on longer each time to get a pale yellow. The technique was flawless but the timing was too quick - bleach works for up to 50mins. Also a purple based toner would look better than the ash which made it a bit muddy.

When you add blue (Ash) to yellow it turns green. He needed a violet toner to neutralize the yellow/brassy tones.

Sis after that first bleach you could have toned it using purple shampoo and you would have gotten pretty the same result. Now his hair looks green and is gonna feel like straw.
All seeing this is the benefit of going to a professional hair stylist others will apply the solution directly on the scalp and then later on u will suffer just for not spending little more money

Nah it wasn't a bad color choice it was just badly done. He didn't leave that bleach in nearly long enough, After a double process like that that hair should've been almost platinum, like the inside of a banana peel before that toner even touched that hair. But after the two processes it looked as yellow as it should look after the first process, while the first process had his hair looking orange. Smh
