In my lore, Brian was already teleported by Stewie to the past alongside Bertram, so Stewie teleported his old self to the future. Stewie and Old Stewie then battle Bertram, when suddenly as they are getting corrupted, Brian overhears it, bursts the door down and patches up Old Stewie for it to transfer to Stewie and the two get uncorrupted.
