@@Gardenbrook Yes, Severe dry eye issues occurred within 2 weeks after the cataract surgeries (in 2015). I had cataract surgery on my left eye (The left eye cataract is caused by retina detachment repair surgery's side effects.) first, then 2 weeks later the same cataract type surgery was performed on my healthy and normal right eye to correct my long-time severe nearsightedness. The cataract surgery on my healthy right eye (with severe nearsightedness) is to insert an intraocular lens (IOL) so that both eyes could have 20/20 eyesight. I needed to apply eye drop treatments using over-the-counter eye drops every hour and prescription eye drops per doctor's order; Doctors also put tear duck plugs on both eyes to retain tear on eyes as long as possible. I am still using all the above mentioned treatments 9 years after the cataract surgeries; but the dry issue is less severe now with the help of eye drops and greatly reducing my computer screen reading time. If dry eye issues are not taken care of properly, corneal might be damaged and the eye could go blind. Thanks.

通常醫生會開鹽酸四環素跟淚液給你, 而你的問題, 其實只是淚腺眼屎阻塞, 鹽酸四環素{金黴素)濃稠無法在淚腺上流動, 淚液卻是緩解沒有治療效果.
我都是把金黴素加一點溶在淚液內, 讓它好用又有效果. 兩種藥都是醫生開的, 金黴素又可以久置於常溫. 我不是醫生, 只是乾眼得到緩解, 提供參考.

我也是可以10秒不眨眼， 但是我有干眼症，睑板腺功能不良。这个检测方法不准
試試中醫！我妹妹已經嚴重到已經抽自己的血來做血清，也不行＇都沒用，最後我們逼她去看中醫＇喝完第二次藥已經有進步，一個星期下來已經好了七成左右，目前已經可以睜開眼睛跟我們說話，不然她除了走路要看一下，坐下就閉上眼睛，因為睜開眼晴太难受，所以，試試中醫，麻煩一點！當然，如果西醫可以治好你的眼睛是比較方便！

我嚴重油管堵塞導致乾眼以及其他問題，基本上眼不離各種藥水，進急診。但是，我眼睛可以張開撑過10秒，所以，。。。。不準。。。
家人也缺油型和缺水乾眼症，乾到刺痛，後來去眼科進行脈衝光雷射治療，目前一天點一次無防腐劑淚液即可。
