Go Go Power Rangers BOOM! Studios Comic #1

I take a look at the first issue of Saban's Go Go Power Rangers comic by BOOM! Studios. This is a prequel to the main comic book series and concentrates on the lives of the Power Rangers.
It's an interesting take on the early adventures of the Power Rangers shortly after they've obtained their powers from Zordon as depicted in the original TV episode, Day of the Dumpster.

I'm going to have to say that I thought the personal quotes went a long way toward character exposition.

That, and it explains more about Jason's past, and why he practices and teaches martial arts (a better origin than the Jason of the failed reboot film).
