I'm heading to Florida in a couple of months, I went to a few dinner shows over 20 years ago, and I'm hoping to relive my childhood a little bit haha. I remember attending this when I was a kid, back when yearly vacations to Orlando were a thing, and before the thing called growing up took hold.
I've always had an extreme sensitivity to sound, my hearing is probably leagues more sensitive than most, which can be a blessing, but also a curse. I recall when the pre-show cannons fired, that really triggered that sound sensitivity, and I about ran out of the building in terror. Bear in mind, I was like, five years old. After my parents managed to run me down and bring me back, one of the actual cast members saw I was having a borderline anxiety attack from the sound in the corner of the room, with my parents trying to calm my nerves, and approached, asking what he could do to help. It was really something.

Did you upgrade to any of their packages like VIP or the Treasure level? Did you notice them selecting kid participation in the upper rows like level 4 and up?
Hi Esther! I did not upgrade anything. We wanted to experience baseline Groupon tickets since I assumed that is what most people would do! ☺️ I did notice that they did walk up the steps and selected people behind us for multiple things….and for the pirate oath, they asked all the kids to come on stage…so, all of the kids in the audience was able to join for that one.

The food is truly awful. Tastes like nothing. But the brownie is pretty good. Also for some reason they make you root for the villains if you’re on a certain side which is annoying
Couldn’t agree more! This show was not great (and that’s being generous) and the food….well, let’s just say I left with 3 hungry kids!! How do you mess up chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese??!! Cold, tasteless, and edible?? Didn’t think so, and thus after taking a bite I couldn’t ask my kids to take another:(. So sad and such a waste of time, let alone the $$!!

The show looks great- but the food looks really bad. The brownie looks like a gas station brownie.
Can’t hear the show from back few rows and the food is garbage…couldn’t even ask my kids to eat it after I felt how cold the nuggets were and then the dry tasteless and weird textures they provided! And I’d definitely prefer Kraft max and cheese over whatever those ‘cheese’ noodles were!:(. So disheartening and sad to have wasted time and money on this:(
Ok. Unless you have little kids who like pirates, this can be easily skipped.
Garbage all the way around!!! Do NOT GO!!!
