Mostly, I feel bad for the animals whose suffering you overlook, like that fish. It's almost as if it's an inanimate object to you. I feel bad for the planet and any kind spirit that suffers by our hands, unnecessarily.
I feel that we've all been brainwashed to see certain animals as companions,
whereas certain animals will be protected at all costs.
Certain animals are only seen as trophies,
certain animals as entertainment,
certain animals for clothing and textiles,
and certain animals as food commodities.
Do you see how society has influenced you to reduce animals to *THINGS*. "Burger" "hot dog"; it was an animal's flesh that wanted to live and fought to their death.
If a puppy were in place of that fish, you both would be losing your shit. I bet you Hannah would have turned the show off - what's the difference between a dog or cat and a pig or chicken?
There's a reason why we share our homes with dogs, wear cows and eat pigs, and it has nothing to do with your original thought.
I feel much better now that I live in alignment with the values I was raised to have - which is to respect and ultimately *protect* those that are weaker than I am, and especially those without a voice.

I wasn't able to watching this show due to not having Netflix (since we don't have the best internet connection where I live), I was able to watch a good chunk of it through reactions like these, so thanks. I am a huge fan of a video game franchise that has similar themes like this called Danganronpa, and I can tell you that when they got to the 'game location', I was suspicious of everything for sure. So when that first guy got "game over", I took it as, "This guy is dead" and I was right so I wasn't as shocked as others who saw this scene lol. This show would shock me though in other ways.

20:56 In the Korean thriller movie Haunters (2010), a Turk and a Ghanaian actor played significant supporting roles as well. It was an exciting movie too. You might enjoy it if you haven't seen it yet. I like it when they include likeable colored foreign actors cuz in the past, they were often antagonistic or they're like props to make the scene "exotic"--at least in some of the Korean movies and series i have seen. it's changing now though, which is a good thing especially since their productions are receiving a lot of international love.
