Where's Kaiba instant win condition? Where you must convince your enemy that you'll commit suicide if you lost
buddy is NOT simon cry of fear
He also has another instant win condition: if you have enough money, you can automatically screw the rules and declare yourself as a winner
This list is for the WORST win conditions 😉
I'm thinking about it once my opponent starts fusing random monsters together
@captainobvious8037 you see that condition must be met by the opponent pulling ideas out of their ass by fusing a bone mammoth and and arrow with your big dragon you worked hard to summon but to be honest the rules are as logical as 2 drunken Scottish men creating a sport
I miss the old win condition, you told your opponent’s mom and they made you win.

Final Countdown is only good if you play the song "Final Countdown" for the duration of the 20 turns
That good point
Honestly watching ur opponent suffering as they try to desperatly break trough makes playing the card worth it
haha. I did it when I played ygo with my college classmates
Final countdown is actually a good card, if you are running a stall deck
I used to add final countdown to my six samurai deck when I was younger 🤦🏾♂️
So disappointed that gimmick puppet disaster Leo was not described as a gimmicky card
It was awful
I liked the design of the monster. Disappointed in the effect.
Disaster Leo's instakill effect is actually somewhat easy to trigger if you do it right. Summon out 88, Link it off, then revive it and rank it up into Disaster Leo, then use his effect to burn for 1000. Then you just need to drop your opponent to 2000 LP or less with him in play, and you win.

Its the card pegasus told the kid use in the anime when he beat bandit keith in a flashback
Well everything in the anime makes sense now at leats
Flying Elephant's effect can be sort of cheesed by a really old Trap Card: Shift. If your opponent was going to use a targeted destruction effect, just Shift it to FE and hope they don't have another one. :S
Oh riiiight! That card...
I used to find it in power of chaos, but never really used it
Would Flying Elephant win you the duel if you used Fairy Box to make the opponent’s card become zero when they attack it? I think so. It would’ve really funny too.
@@MrInterVention149 no, it needs to have a direct attack (after negating a destruction effect that targeted it) which requires you to declare the attack on their life points. even if they have a 0 attack monster, and you attack over inflicting the full battle damage to them, it is not counted as a direct attack.
Really makes you think about how ridiculous the original anime was where flying elephant beat Bandit Kieth. That means he willingly triggered the elephants effect knowing full well he would lose 🤔
Raphael Zhou not really defending the anime, but I think that the world of the show doesn’t have card lists or anything, and that certain cards are incredibly rare. So Bandit Keith probably just attached the elephant, not knowing it’s effect. Obviously, in the jp version he could just read the card but... yeah
@@serduncan8296 He's american tho, he probably couldn't have read the card
You can read the text of any card you want . . . . In America
@@zbox509 JUST FUCK ALREADY
To be fair, unlike in an actual game, anime characters don't have to tell your opponent what the effect is.
I’d imagine Relay Soul’s actual purpose is to special summon your biggest beatstick as a last resort and hope to god they don’t destroy it. Then immediately swing for game.
It's a cool idea! Imagine a monster for it that uses attack points like health, and works like a boss fight!
Bandit Keith apparently didn't read Flying Elephant's card effect :^)
Micaiah the Otaku Gamer [HybridAngelZero] uhh I think I took all your life points
Micaiah the Otaku Gamer [HybridAngelZero] you can’t read card effects in the anime
They never read card effect in the anime they just try to destroy the monster and then the opponent say "you just activate my monsters effect"
Its forbidden to read
I won with Angel of Mischief, it was pretty fun going all-in on distracting my opponent (which Ghostricks are entertaining to do with) until it was too late for them to stop it.
For the record, Holactie is a really weird spelling of Horakhty. Which is pronounced "ho-rock-tee." It's one of the names of the god Horus, meaning "Horus of two horizons." Horus is the Egyptian god of kingship, and he was also often conflated with Ra, the sun god. Re-Horakhty (Ra who is Horus of the Two Horizons) was basically the fusion of Ra's status as an all-powerful creator and Horus's status as the true heir and ruler of civilization. Hence why the Yu-Gi-Oh version is so amazing - though funnily, she gives me more of an Isis vibe.
Well isis was his granddaughter and the goddess of magic and divinity. She was considered female ra
@@SabrinaJadedreamer I know; that's what I mean. That's why it's strange to me that the Horakhty in YGO is female - Horus in mythology is very definitely a dude.

I've subscribed at the time you were playing weird, gimmicky decks on ygo pro with just few thousands views and now you're already a popular youtuber
Congratulations man, you deserve all of it and hope you'll still go strong !
When you explained Holactie's summoning condition, my first thought was, "How am I supposed to summon all three Egyptian gods in one duel!?"
zombie horde/lightswarn and sphere mode.
lightswarn monsters like celestia and layla easily mill yourself out and zombie horde summons anything sent to the graveyard.
then sphere mode from a previous turn comes back to your side of the field, can be tributed for a ra in the deck. you can easily get all gods out in 1 or 2 turns dude. they arent as amazing as the anime or myths tell you
Danger dark world, or soul charge back then
mhm, "back then"
not now.
@@PrototypePlatform They do get destroyed the turn they're special summoned, though, so it has to be done in one turn
To be fair, it's not that hard. Slifer and Obelisk can be special summoned. You only need to arrange tribute fodder for Ra or better, just use Sphere Mode's effect
Its quite possible to insta win the duel with exodius:
If your opponent has 2 Monster out, fill up with ojama Trio summon exodius and use diffusion wave-motion.
Now exodius can attack 5 times and each time one Monster from the deck goes to the grave
Hey nice combo
Wow that sounds good
3 years late but this can be done even easier if your opponent summons nothing on their turn, ojama trio + ojama duo
I honestly don’t care if Holactie The Creator Of Light is hard to actually summon, the artwork on the card makes it one of my favorite YuGiOh cards.
Wouldn’t the card Double Passé (not sure if I spelled that right) which changes your opponent’s attack to a direct attack while allowing you to attack directly as well be able to fulfill Flying Elephant’s instant win condition?
alex kuhn the fact that she instantly wins you the duel once you summon her makes it worth the effort
i love it cus it portrays god as a milf giantess :)
More like Holactits amirite
BUT WHY DID THEY RENAME IT
"some of the best protection in the game"
well, she's immune to everything, I don't know if there can be a better protection xD
immune to everything, cannot be destroyed by battle, cannot be used for a tribute summon.
Would there be any way to stop a card like that? Also why does not being able to be targeted matter if its unaffected?
Don't forget "cannot be used as material for a fusion summon" because of Super Poly. To be extra safe, you could also throw in a clause for Synchro, XYZ and Link just to be safe in case there ever is a Super Poly equivalent for any of these types of summon
@@sephikong8323 "Synchro material" is the synchro equivalent of super poly. There is also the trap card for the xyz but I don't remember its name
@@mattbell888 It might come up once in a blue moon. Like lets say a card effect targets a card but doesnt affect it, like "Target 1 monster your opponent controls: Special Summon 1 Monster from your Deck with a Level less than that card."
I feel like Flying Elephant is actually pretty useful, not for actually getting its effect, but as a deterrent for field destruction, which is honestly probably better than a lot of these instant win conditions (but less interesting lol)
Flyinf elephant is Just existing BC the anime
Is Relay Soul the only card that has an actual “Lose Condition?”

i actually tried to build a venominaga "turbo" deck (aka the fastest i could summon her was turn 7, and i only managed to do it 3 times at all). ironically at the point i just had so many reptiles in the graveyard that i could just win regularly by doing battle damage with her.
also, borrelsword can out venominaga unless you have 13 reptiles in the grave.
Venominaga can revive herself if she dies in battle
@@spyro2002 she still cannot out borrelsword. borrelsword cannot be destroyed by battle. so after she is revived, she has less attack. lets say you have 12 reptiles in the graveyard while venominaga comes out.
venominaga has 6k attack.
borrelsword attacks venominaga, he gets 3k attack (as this is half of her current attack), destroys venominaga - he doesn t get destroyed, venominaga has 5.5k (and also loses any counter she had already)
your turn - venominaga attacks for 2.5k damage. opponent - borrel attacks over venominaga, venominaga goes down to 5k and so on.
anyway. if we assume the opponnent has 8k LP at that point, you cannot win the duel with regular battle damage vs borrelsword.
2500 + 2000 + 1500 + 1000 + 500 = 7500
@@spyro2002 and before you say: borrelsword can be gotten rid by other means, then good luck with that. if you want to get a 6k venominaga on the field, you basically have no resources to do anything else.
@@nihildwo4874 "outing" something means that you can get rid of it. Borrelsword doesn't "out" venominaga, he "counters" her. Does that make sense, that's what I mean
@@spyro2002 ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. i was actually referring to winning with venoninaga via her own win condition the whole time. i mean technically borrelsword can still out her with 12 reptiles, he d just need 6 turns for it.
God I remember when I was a small kid me and my friends used to play at school, and we sucked so much we didn’t really care about spells and traps and just monster and attack strength. And oh boi did I love using Gimmick Puppet of Leo because we were too bad to do anything about it
10:15
I'd Argue DNA surgery is a more reliable method of changing types for Exodia's effect since Reprodocus needs to point to another monster and your opponent may always try to avoid the columns under the Extra monster zone.
best ways to to help Exodia keep a high atk power? Mirror Moon shield. regardless if his effect is negated he'll at east always be 100atk points higher
6:25 Shows "Oni-Gami Combo" which targets as a way to detach Materials. Then explains that C88 can't be targeted.
Waking the dragon then
its also worth noting that number 88 gimmick puppet of leo (the unranked up version) cant activate his own effect with oni-gami on used, but he gains destiny counters when he detaches materials by any means what so ever. so if you can one by one detach his materials with other cards, you can give his 3 destiny counters then just end your turn and win the duel.
duellogs also got master of the guard massively wrong too. i think its safe to say he didnt read the texts or investigate hard enough.
@@PrototypePlatform you are wrong, says that the counter is placed when detaches the material by its effect
@@PrototypePlatform people like you is why this game is getting kinda weird and broken, don't be that guy... it clearly states that the effect only happen if they're detached by it's own effect though
@@hyoroemonmeto6874 You can't summon C88 with Waking the Dragon. It has to be summoned with a Rank Up spell.
Konami effectively realized the Flying Elephant from that duel with Bandit Keith and Pegasus made no sense for being an instant win since the print looked like it had no effect with the yellow border. Thus they made up an effect to justify its purpose, except it still feels cheap.
Someone got "FINA" on me in duel links, closest win i got in awhile
Even if she got some praise, Vennominaga taking the fourth spot broke my heart a little.
The archetype surrounding her just isn’t good.
Sadly Venoms and Vennominaga really need some amazing support if they want to be relevant and it seems Konomi completely forgot they exist since Professor Viper left the show.

I feel that something else worth noting with Vennominaga is that if it has enough attack to actually overpower your opponent's monsters, you are probably going to win by battle damage alone.
Surprised Destiny Board didn't make it.
destiny board has a support card so it is not that bad as it used to be.Also you can pull it off more frequently unlike those.Same as final countdown
Technically Dank Sanctuary is a preeetty darn good support card that makes protecting it insanely easy...
And you can use other stalls to get behind... I guess...
Like I think it is because the video is not on how good the card is only how easy it is to pull off the win condition.
Which, tbh, Destiny board still gonna have an easier time to pull off than Ghostrick Angel of Mischief.
Sometimes your opponent just don't draw that MST or Twister, or any pop, and just loses because Destiny Board XD
Are Final Countdown stall decks still working okay?
I'd hate to go up against that if it's actually reliable in mid-tier dueling.

You could Onigami Combo original Leo to empty off its Materials before the Rank-Up. Then you expend the one mat you have left on Disaster Leo.
Summon it onto the field under Skill Drain. Oni-gami. Pop Skill Drain.
Man i love venominaga, tried so hard to make her work back in the game. Really hope her whole poisonous snake archetype gets some support, that would be so cool
Exodia ultimate can win in one turn with diffusion wave motion
Oh shit, I didn't think about that!
(Edit): on closer inspection, you can win in one turn, assuming that your opponent's field is packed with monsters for Exodia to attack 5 times to activate the instant win condition. But still, even without that, if your opponent has 2 monsters in the field (assuming you have cards like Dimension Guardian or Gagagashield), then you're sitting rather pretty.
Also Exodia, Master of the guard you can also use DNA Transplant, which also works even though it goes for your own monsters, the effect also works on your opponents as well.
Dna surgery/transplant is so underrated in modern yugioh honestly
That "Flying Elephant" is so obscure & funny, I want to use that in my Beast deck (Since I now know the way I used "Dark Cat with White Tail" is technically incorrect yet nobody knew until we looked it up)... XD
9:35 Pull a Weevil Underwood and give your opponent a Dark Fiend before you duel him.
As someone who used to run a Venom deck for the fun of it a while back, I will say...that one of the most annoying things about Venominaga is actually her own protection effect. That stops you from playing cards that will benefit her (like cards that allow her to inflict piercing damage or bypassing monsters). All your opponent has to do is play defensively and you can't do anything unless you can clear their entire board and get in a direct attack
Plus there's also the fact that your opponent could just remove reptile monsters from your graveyard in order to decrease her attack points and make her really easy to beat over and because of her own effect you can't increase her attack points again.
Poor elephant! He's so cute!
It is not a good duel winner, but it can be good
"Rank 10 Trains"

Back when I gimmick puppet decks were still a thing and RUM cards didn't have the hammer, I was playing against a stally burn deck and did manage to get Disaster Leo out, totally forgot about his effect. Prolonged the dual with the opponent having like 1000LP and decking him out. When he was going to deck out, he said "Disaster Leo has an instant win condition, fyi"... lol fun stuff.
More like top 10 wincons Im going to try (and fail with) at locals
Even though it didn't make the list, don't forget F.A. Winners
All i can say is good luck giving your opponent gift exchange, forcing your opponent to activate it, and praying they dont pull out some 3000 attack immune to card effects monster
I've done Ghostrick Angel of Mischief (I've always had a Ghostrick deck) by trolling the bad casual players, and did the same with Vennominaga (doo doo doo doo doo).
Just play with them online. I got Vennominaga's win condition off a few times on YGOPro. Just be prepared to play dozens of duels before you do.
Bold and Spicy why cant relay soul effect be if your monster special summoned by this effect is sent to your graveyard by opponents card effect, they win the duel. that way you can use exchange, steal an opponents monster, use relay, and destroy it to send to their graveyard, then u win the duel
Mill Flying Elephant with Grass or Lightsworns. Opponent won't suspect a thing.
Opponent used Dark Hole!
Player used Call of the Haunted
Next turn Player uses Infected Mail for game!
it's a possibility but still very difficult to pull off
Another way of changing your opponent's monster's type is the continuous trap DNA Surgery.
I used to use Angel of Mischief all the time with 3 copies of Ghostrick Renovation, which lets you summon Alucard back over Angel of Mischief, and then back again, basically giving you 2 free materials. If you've already used her effect that turn, then activate renovation to summon her over another Alucard, then activate her effect again, you can theoretically get 4 materials on her per turn.
Could you maybe make tops about decks as well? For example, worst deck types that new players use, best unpopular decks, deck types that went from good to bad after links were added etc.. Or something like - top 10 myths on what makes a good deck.
It would be really interesting and helpful for newbies
The problem is lists like those are so diverse, and watching things like Cimoooo's rogue deck meta contenders lists, as most of those decks are gonna fit your top 10 best unpopular decks.
The only way I know to pull off the Phantasm Spiral win condition in one turn is to use the effect of Performapal Kaleidoscorp on Phantasm Spiral Dragon to attack all special summoned effect monsters.
*sees Dora*
RAAAAAATAAAAAA!
I won a duel with number 4, it was a long time ago. I don't think you could use that today unless you were haveing an old school duel or something.
Master of the guard says "Can" tribute 5 monsters, you can still just use two. Which would be enough to beat over many mons.
yes, BUT his win condition is only activated if he was summoned with 5 monsters, it says "if this card summoned this way..."
hes still best used for just attacking. but using an eidos the underworld squiere's graveyard effect to summon an eada the heavenly squire from the grave, who summons a mithra the thunder vassal from the deck, who lets you summon another eidos from hand and use his field effect, then use a monarch stormforth to tribute an oppanants monster, thats 5 monsters and at the very minimum, a calculated 800 x4 (3200 atk) + your oppanants monster, you have both a power house beatstick, with his win condition armed and ready.
however repodocus is a terrible idea. a better card is a pre-set DNA surgery + lair of darkness.
so simply put. wanna use master guard easy one turn kill? use monarchs.
But Master of the Guard is 10 stars so you'd still need 3, not 2.
In short, it's a Gren Maju with a win condition.
no. level 7 or higher is only 2 tributes and that was a change made over a decade ago lol. infact it was probably one of the first master-rule changes
@@BmanTheChamp the only monsters with an effect that states that you need 3 tributes are that way, like the god cards.
No final countdown? A spell you need to keep alive for 20 turns and costs 2000lp to activate?
cmd1095 Unsure if it's a reference, but just in case, Final Countdown goes to the graveyard instantly after its activation
Final Countdown can work alright
Worth pointing out for Exodius is that it was clearly made/designed to be an exodia deck backup plan. If your opponent was targeting your exodia cards for destruction in hand or deck, then you could use Exodius to replenish your deck and give you the chance to regain them. In addition, since exodia cards are THE win-condition archetype, his job was supposed to give you a back-up win condition if your opponent continued to destroy your exodia cards.
The only issue is, of course, that even when Exodius was released, the game was far too fast paced and there was far too great of a focus on the graveyard essentially being another resource (as opposed to just a graveyard). If you weren't running an Exodia FTK, you were playing Exodia wrong. And if you were running Exodia FTK, then Exodius was useless as it didn't contribute to your win condition.
Clearly just a card designed/released for an era that had already passed (like many boss cards, it seems).
Sad to see vennominaga so high considering I lost to it multiple times.

Ghostrick Angel of Mischief's auto-win is still my favorite to this day. Best duel I ever had used the Nekomusume/Night lockdown combo to get it on my opponent twice in a row.
My problem with Vennominaga always was the "do damage three times" part.
Whenever I play that I always try to get its ATK as high as possible. So I'd usually empty my opponent's LP long before I could get the instant win.
That Flying Elephant card could be a decent deterrent to board wipes maybe? Like you put it out alongside your boss monster, so if your opponent tries to blowup the board to get rid of your boss monster, they have theoretically set up an instant win condition for you, so they'll maybe think twice?
It's a disappointment that we don't get an international version of Horakhty, unless it's a bootleg.

I like Exodius cause I combo it with Obliterate!!! and just keep send one of their monster back to the hand each turn. Of course I never play against good decks so who knows.
Same here its really nice
I really like the theme of Relay Soul, for a similar reason to My Body as a Shield. WHen you're about to die, you transfer your soul to one of your monsters, and hence now you're alive as long as that monster is.
Another reason is that it reminds me of a certain Magic (MTG) joke card that thematicaly turned you into a squirrel (you put a squirrel token 1/1, and if the token leaves the field you lose).
As I recall, there was also an Enchantment that turned you into a dragon. Something like, "You now have 10 life, and do five damage to Target player or creature at the end of your turn", I think.
Basically the Disney Villain Gambit of turning into a giant snake.
Someone forgot exodius can be cheesed out with diffusion wave motion.

For the holactile I would honestly reccomend using balloon counter to not only reduce ur appoints attack by 300 but also send any amount of cards you own yo the graveyard so both slider and obelisk can be sent turn 1
How about a top 10 most useful synchro cards?
Stardust Dragon
Formula Synchron
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend
F.A. Dawn Dragster
Borreload Savage Dragon
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon
PSY-Framelord Omega
Ancient Fairy Dragon
Coral Dragon
T.G. Hyper Librarian

Relay Soul = "Hey man, use me to let your opponent win"
Spirit board should be number 2 on this list as it both takes 5 turns and the cards themselves do literally nothing except fill up your spell and trap card zone. All of the monster cards are by default better then spirit board because you can always just use the monster as a beat stick. Flying elephant defiantly has potential as you could set it in face down defense postion so your opponent doesn't know it's a flying elephant and then when they try to destroy it they instead activate it's effect.
i can't help but think of a scene in the Manga, during "battle city".
Yugi was dueling "dark" Bakura.
he used a weird card called "ouija board", which would give him an instant win in five turns... BUT it required a specific monster to be sent to the graveyard AFTER being "special summoned" by having THREE other monster of a specifies type be sent to the graveyard DURING BATTLE!
QUITE a lot of setup, he took a LOT of lifepoint damage letting those monsters get killed!
THEN he used several weird continuous spell cards to stop Yugi from attacking him...
I watch this because your voice is oddly satisfying.
He could be the new David Attenborough
Maybe I've been out of the loop for too long (lol like 15 years too long) but isn't Destiny Board still kinda awful both because how long it takes and how easy it is to negate?
Destiny board has support cards making it less bad
It should be on this list. But read Dark Sanctuary, it essentially lets you actually use backrow and has somewhat battle protection, which helps this 10/10 mega terrible strategy 7/10 almost mega terrible.
You CAN use Summon Breaker as a floodgate since it sits in Field zone
16:21 can also use the equip card shooting bow star ceal. -1000 attack this card can attack directly.
Funfact: flying elephant exists bc of an iconic anime scene where panik lost a duel vs a young child which got help from pegasus and played a random elephant which made him win instant
Wait, "Holactie"? I thought that card's name was Horakhty.
The Flying Elephant effect works great with toons and comic hand
I once won a local tournament back when monarchs were at peak with jackpot 7.
Flying elephants effect could be set off with an opponent using dark hole back when there was almost no chance they would be able to summon another monster that turn
Horakthy is so awesome tho!!!
It's quite literally the ultimate card, canon and rarity wise
"It's quite literally the ultimate card, canon and rarity wise" It wasn't a card at all in canon. It was used in the Dark RPG.
fully expected #1 to be final countdown, duels don't last 20 turns anymore ever
It feels weird not calling her Horakhty
You are actually pronouncing it as it should be, she is like a female Horus.
For flying elephant, summon it, and neko mane king to your side of the field, summon slifer to your opponents field from the graveyard, let your opponent activate slifers effect on their turn, neko mane king goes to the graveyard, it's effect ends the opponents turn, slifer goes back to the graveyard, give equip spell to flying elephant, attack, you win the game.
Relay Soul is more of a last effort card i think. Wasnt it used in the anime the same way? (yugi vs dartz)
Ya he uses it when his life hits zero. Which you couldnt actually do could you?
@@mikeyderrick387 but you could use it when your opponents declare an attack/activate an effect who would get you to 0LP
Getting back into this game and I really enjoy how insightful these videos are! Thank you for uploading these!
Top 10 Cards that were really good when they came out, then something happened and they fell into obscurity, and then something happened again and they became really good again. Also, the "something happened" cannot be because the card itself became limited or banned or unbanned.
Power creep
How about victory dragon? “If you reduce your opponents life points to 0 with this card you win the duel
"Match"
Totally different.
Honestly I don't understand why it stays Forbidden. The gameplay right now has become so fast, and it is not that hard to counter it.
Its a match like in a tournament they automatically win the match
No Destiny Board here? Takes minimum 6 turns, and can be disrupted by destroying just one of five cards, and also continues to take up your back row space when one of the letters is destroyed. I think that's worse than at least half the stuff on this list.
Uh....for Exodia. You could use a combination of Metaverse, Pendulums, Dark Coston and some other things to make it more possible.
Shouldnt #8 card name be horakthy the creator of light
Different name
