Hey y’all. Thank you for joining me. Today I will be trying out the new Danessa Myrick Blurring Balm Powder. I did try it in three shades. Universal, 4 and 7 and did a wear test.

Some people love it 🤷🏻♀️ it was just not for me. If I have to play around with it too long to find a way to make it work then it is not worth it 🤗💜
Aileen, I watched this last week and forgot to comment, but I wanted to say the shades can be tricky especially if you’re looking for a bronzing or highlighting effect cause since it’s a balm, each shade is meant to cover shades across many different skin tones. I see you decided to keep the universal shade. I hope it works out in the long run for you! Good idea on using WG’s puff!
Hey Michi. Well I followed the instructions given on the site of going a few shades up for bronzer, but even swatched alone it is very olive. I ended up returning the Universal as well. It did not blend well with many of my foundations. Too fussy of a product in my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Great review! It definitely not good for undereye like the Wayne Goss. I love it for a very light sheer coverage.

It really wasn’t for me. I returned the 2 pigmented shades and kept the universal to play around with it, but haven’t found use for it yet 😬

I thought it was just me! I’ve tried multiple brushes, a sponge and my fingers and it takes such hard work to make it look nice. It just hangs about in a weird layer on my skin, it never melds in. I’m so sad as I desperately wanted to love it!
It is not just you my friend. It was too finicky and not for me. I ended up returning them all. I wanted to love it too, but there are too many great products out there to mess with this one. Thanks for watching 💜😊

I bought DM balm and I love it. It left my skin looking beautiful. Sounds to me like you're trying to advertise for WG not his stuff is bad and I like him. Just saying.
We all use different skin care and have different skin. I really wanted this to work and even purchased it in 3 shades. Unfortunately it did not. It peeled and sat on top of the skin. I only compared it to WG because it was the most similar product I had reviewed previously. Thanks for your opinion I appreciate it 🤗 I am also glad to see it’s working for you and you’re loving it.
It didn't work as an eye primer fir me. I had to go over it with the Rare Beauty primer.
It was awful under the eyes. I ended up returning all the shades. I attempted to keep the universal shade as a primer; however it did not play nice with my foundations 🥺💜
I’ve had this product for a few days but I’ve been laid up so I haven’t been able to play with it. I think I’ll pick up the universal shade as well. It really smoothed out your texture and I need that around my nose and cheeks
Awe 🥺 I hope you feel better soon! I kept the universal shade to play with it. It’s nice on its own so far, but doesn’t mix well with many of my foundations. I may have to send that one back as well 🤦🏻♀️💜🤗

This product sounds interesting but I am not yet convinced to get it. I think I prefer powder to be powder, primer - primer, and foundation to be the foundation. I can tell the mouth area is a bit more problematic. Btw I love your lashes they are long and defines.

So this foundation is a frenemy….initially layers well and then is deceptive by settling into fine lines and wrinkles 🤣. Thanks for the detailed review Aileen. A definite pass for me 🥰🦋💕
Definitely a frenemy! It aged me like 10 years. It was awful! I kept the universal shade to try as a primer, but so far has not been playing well with my other foundations and will have to go back as well 🤦🏻♀️ it’s a mess. Definitely pass, you’re not missing anything 😬🤗💜
