@@jimbuxton2187 No, not when you have people like Nadine Sierra and Eglise Gutierrez singing the aria Caro Nome with perfect techniques , beautiful voices , and the latter singing the optional E-natural.
@@mariomazzi7894 while I love the singers you mentioned, they have their faults too. Nadine left some high notes out in a performance, and I heard Eglise crack through the scales in the Hamlet mad scene....
Great sensuality in her voice! Bravissima! To sing "Caro nome" is very difficul ❤❤❤
La meravigliosa Anna Moffo una DIVINA
This was one of only 3 performances Moffo ever sang at Covent Garden. The conductor is Solti. She was such a delight to listen to. Thank you!
Bellissima!
Wow, what a stunning performance. Do you have the rest of the opera?
Amazing 🤩
Didn't she faint during her debut performance there? She was overworked by her husband. Bu one of the greats. Nice lady too.
Scoops and slides into every note in the opening. Remarkable.
Are there any live performance recordings out there of her in Lucia di Lammermoor? Besides the infamous blowout one in 1969?
There's a RAI film from 1959 and a live 1965 Philadelphia performance where she's partnered by Craig and Colzani.
Beautiful sound but she starts off flat and slides into some notes and she substituted some high notes for low notes.
Its still better than anyone today.

Well, they are human, too.@@jimbuxton2187
She's the best scooper and slider! I mean, come on, Fleming made her career out of scooping!
