I had to pick my jaw up off the floor, it is stunning how much these actors are paid in residuals. No wonder David Hyde Pierce passed on the new Frasier. He's set for life. Frasier remains my all-time favorite show!
Sad to say the new Frasier show does not come close to the original.
@@ch1766. I had no idea there was one.
@@annemurphy9339 Yes, I've seen it a couple times, but it's nowhere near close to the old Frasier. It's on streaming, but I can't remember which one. Sorry.
I miss that show! So well written and the characters were perfect in their roles.
Won’t even bother with the new Frazier! For a “modern audience” they continue to mine these amazing IP’s and ruin the legacy they had.
I read it depended on their contract. I met Jonathan Harris( Lost in space) wife in the 70s , she worked for a company that my employer dealt with, and she told me he got residuals , probably not a lot but back in the mid 70s a couple hundred dollars a month could cover most of a house payment or all of a car payment
R.I.P Bob Saget , Matthew Perry, Betty White & all those other actors who has passed away recent years
According to the IMDB the final episode of Frasier was May 2004.
$2,000,000.00 per week in residuals? That man has earned his honorary Doctoral Degree.
Check you facts . Betty White died just short of 100 years old . She did not live over 100 ! Bob Saget also died 2 years ago .
But according to these people he still collects. In person!
@@markgolden504 his family collects it
Residuals are dependent on many variables, and residual payments are generally reduced over time to a very low amount. Actors may get additional money if they have other roles in the production, such as producers, writers, etc. Also, residuals are only paid if the show is in actual syndication and actively being shown. I used to work for an entertainment payroll company.
So many actors received $0 on tv reruns like Brady Bunch Leave it to Beaver etc because no one knew about reruns
Remember they still get SSI, so they still doing better than most Veterans , 100 percent more just in that, and every Veteran who Lost a Body part American Flag time wave it high 😮
Who knew that losing Wars and costing Tax Payers TRILLIONS wouldn't pay so well??
The people from friends are making $100,000 an episode… no tears here…
I used to say that Betty White and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be walkingthis earth when Jesus returns. I guess I was wrong about that, but those ladies wore their age as a badge of honor
Harmon is also EP o all the spin-offs.
...and what about William Petersen from OG CSI? He was EP on all the spin-offs as well.
Al Bundy is the single greatest TV character ever. Also, Frasier's final air date was not Sep, 16, 1993, that's when the first episode aired.
After all the taxes, health insurance, car & apartment payment plus insurance, utilities, house insurance, property tax, groceries, depends how many kids they have, gasoline prices, their agent’s cut, the studio’s cut, and that’s about 80% of their income.
That’s really sad the Bradys get nothing 😢
Lucky people for sure
WTF You would have thought The Brady Brunch, would have learned from Gilligan, The Skipper too, The Millionaire and His Wife, The Movie Star, The Professor and Mary Ann. But I guess they didn't!
Back then, residuals weren't really considered back then. Additionally, nowadays, actors and actresses have to insure residuals, Blu-Ray sales, and streaming are a part of their contracts.
What about King of Queens?
Ed O'nneill is making serious money from MF. That show is syndicated everywhere.
RIP Bob Saget 🙏😔
How you doin' !
I'm sure the actors who have passed away are not receiving residual checks any longer. Lets hope their loved ones continue to get paid.
Why? Their loved ones didn’t act.
If Cheers final episode was 1993, how could David Hyde Pierces final episode in Frasier 1993. Wasn't Kelsey in both?
The show talked about Bob Saget as if he still receiving residuals. He’s one of the many victims of the clot shot. Died Suddenly.
But you can’t take it with you!!! The great equalizer dod comes for everyone.!
What do you mean living off reruns, they were making a million dollars an episode in the last season........Sigh
The Joey spin off failed bcoz he wasn't permitted to be Joey.
Man With a Plan was good because he wasn't Joey.
wow your info is 3-5yrs behind
The words 'estimated' and 'up to' mean these figures are guesses.
Are any accurate? I'd be interested to actually know. This video isn't close to saying any of the figures are.
Some of the math and facts were all off. This thing looks put together by AI.
Betty White died at 99 years old.
Not from me.
So sad I'm going to be up late at night 🌃 worrying about them and just how they going to be able to live off that kinda m😢ney, 💰...😊
I don't think Perry, Saget, or White are enjoying any residuals, per year.
Betty White was 99 when she passed away. She never made it to 100. Do your homework AI.
True, she was less than 2 weeks away from being 100.
I think everyone gave her the pass considering leap years she lived to be a 100!
Money probably goes to her estate
Unlike Betty White, Paul Walker made it to 100 before passing.
@michaelreece2966 if you celebrate your 99th birthday, you are in fact in your 100th year of life. Do the math. Your birthday celebrates the end of your year, not the beginning.
Don’t know what to believe here
Cool yay not call yer
Sounds like a lot of inflated numbers to me.
Joey got fat.. Aniston look beautiful. Perry, rest in peace bruh…
When you get the simplest facts wrong, you lose all credibility. Fix it!
A lot of incorrect information here -
Stopped watching your video at the 3:35 mark because of two glaring errors up to that point: 1) Unless you corrected it after I stopped watching, you kept referring to actor Bob Saget as if he were still living. Mr. Saget died Jan. 9, 2022 after suffering an apparent fall in his Orlando, Florida hotel room; 2) You referred to his "Full House" co-star as Dave Collier. Mr. Coulier, who's still with us and has plans of returning to television; well, his last name is C-O-U-L-I-E-R, not Collier. Assuming you are a real person, you might want to spend a little more time actually researching the topics you present before you present them--and maybe stop depending on AI to speak for you.
Ive never watched any of these idiot shows from the 80s and 90s except Saturday Night Live. Not near as funny like Sanford and son and all in the family and Beverley Hillbillies
AI generated garbage
Just over a minute in, and I have to stop watching. Incredibly boring
Uh - not the best edited video I’ve seen - Bob Saget , Betty White, and Matthew Perry definitely aren’t getting any, let alone More residuals now for anything - since it’s hard to get residual checks when your deceased! Seriously - very embarrassing just listening to the discussion as if these people were alive. Poor form man!
