Hey, Colleen! I just wanted to tell you how much you mean to me. Last December my Mom was in the hospital and my family was told that she wasn’t going to live. I was more heartbroken and devastated than I’ve ever been. All I could do is cry. I remember one night I was watching your video and you were upset bc maisy was still in the NICU. I had cried all day and watching you made me feel more comforted. I felt like we were both going through a really hard time together. I don’t know what I would do without you!! Also, I’m so happy to say that my Mom survived! She is a living miracle!

I’m an Occupational therapist with Kids is australia and we work a lot on emotional regulation and being able to deal with big emotions, not punishing them for their feeling but letting them feel that big feeling but helping them finding alternative or ‘expected’ responses to their feeling that isn’t harming themselves, others or objects. So many parents just punish or tell off kids for having big feelings, but that only makes things worse ! Feelings need to be felt, but it’s how we deal with them and then move on after the not great feelings that’s important ✨💗 you are a fantastic mum and you are doing awesome 🌸
Colleen, I LOVE that you teach Flynn alternative choices instead of just saying "you're not supposed to do that" I used to be a therapist for special children and we followed the same protocol. It's always better to give appropriate choices rather than just saying "no"
Erik was right Hidden Valley Ranch was started in SB. My relatives loved the stuff so my mom would have to mail packets from SB to the state where they lived.

Best mom advice I’ve probably ever gotten was to make doctors appointments as close to bedtime as possible! That way the grumpy kiddos don’t have to wait too long for a bottle or snuggles, etc. and then bedtime! ❤️

There's pretty much no chance she will make it full term so the baby will most likely be a preemie and in the NICU for at least a little while. Knowing what you know now if you could go back and make a registry for the twins what would you have put on the list? As a preemie/NICU momma (or any other preemie/NICU parents) is there anything you would recommend buying for them that would be extra helpful during that time?
Teaching Flynn Ariana’s proper name is very important and I’m sure he’s going to appreciate you doing that. I really like that method of teaching it’s better than scolding him and making him feel bad. I’m not a mom I don’t know things it’s just my perspective.
