Pretty sure he was part of the previous match, but I don't remember. However, he isn't the weakest survivor by any means. He can also dominate Tarot so much so that they just debuffed him.

As funny as that ending is pretty sure Naib was hired to kill the boars and Murro asked him to kill him since Murro had nothing left to go home to. The entire circus troop he came from was believed to be dead. When we see Naib crouched by the boar he's actually praying for Murro. It's like an honor thing and another reason he wouldn't let the others near it. It wasn't even necessarily to hide what he did. He also ended up convincing William and Kurt to help him kill Servias and then he killed Kurt too cause Kurt was a threat. William and he "escaped", but the baron wanted them punished for breaking the rules so Bane was sent after them.

Someone explain the whole naib lore why did he needed to kill murro? I play idv but i have no clue about the lore at all and how each character is connected
I believe it should be connected to Mike and other characters in the circus (Like Smiley face and dancer). In the incident of the massacre of the circus, Mike’s father and the circus were burnt down, which smiley (supposingly I think) did to protect the dancer from the abuse of her boyfriend (another clown in the circus). However, Mike thought it was murro (who escaped from the circus) who killed his father instead due the lack of evidence in the Moon river circus. As a result, Mike hired Naib to kill Murro to avenge his father.
