Hell yeah, it's worth it!! I was a teenager when all these games debuted in the 90s, and this brings me back to when my God Brother taught me how to play Capcom Fighting Games, back in them beautiful 90s. God, I miss the glory days of 2D Fighters. I also main Sakura, Rogue, US Agent, Captain America, Savage Wolverine, Juggernaut, Black Heart, Mephisto, Morrigan, Venom, and Mecha Zangief.
I love hearing memories like these, takes me all the way back to when me and my brother played haha
@@kali-qgames1301 Indeed! I could go on and on, about how I had the inferior PS1 ports of most of these games, but that's a story for another time.
It’s worth it for the player base alone, yeah fightcade is free and rpcs3 has the quality of life and graphics upgrades but this version is responsive as hell, it felt like goku taking the weights off when I started playing collection for the first time, and it’s worth it alone for the player base, even with the matchmaking issues it’s a lot easier to get a match with a player of normal skill in collection compared to the literal 30 options you have in fightcade and 0 options in rpcs3
I’m still in fighting game heaven! I love this collection! It’s good to be back my friend!

Kinda disappointed. They went for the OG close to arcade port instead of making it modern when it comes to quality of life features. Why isn't there a damn back button?!?!! If you accidentally pick a character you didn't want, that's it. Like wtf?! We can change this!!! It's 2024!

It's totally worth it! Many of us have been waiting a long-ass time to get any of these titles re-released( especially MVC2!)Even though I still owe my PlayStation, Sega Saturn and Dreamcast copies of these games, I'm always open to having a collection available on newer consoles!

IDK, MvC2 was just ok when I played it on Xbox 360 Arcade.
Regret getting the steam version as there's hardly any online matches plus there's no audio on non steam deck devices

Been playing for days! So as someone who only ever played the PS2 port it really REALLY took some getting used to this version of MVC2. It felts so alien to not have the homescreen and game modes. When i selected the game and it jumped right into the character select i was like wtf lol. Also took me a min to figure out how to get to training mode. The menus and how to get to things feels kinda clunky but otherwise im hooked!
This is the most unclunky user interface I've seen on a game in a while. Have you played a modern-day game?
I would agree that I think it’s a pretty simple, smooth interface. But I’m with you on the jumping straight to character select. I do sort of miss the whole presentation, but it’s all good.
