Both. I’ve noticed that the pricier things are becoming more well made than in the past so they last.
I’ve also seen inexpensive, they do a great job mixing it up.
Spending an extra 10 or 20 bucks for a centerpiece lasting year to year- in the grand scheme is worth it.
Midge also says the website has coupons! 20% off one item.. nice incentive.
Spirit tends to be on the pricier side of things. In my experience, it's better to shop around on some of the decor items---like the skeletal animals. A lot of other retailers have those for much cheaper prices. It feels like some items at Spirit are marked up way higher than necessary. I love the experience of going to Spirit, but it can pack a wallop to your wallet. I don't even want to think about how much I spent on last year's trip.
I love the two faced gravestone! And that they don't allow resellers to grab everything up prior to Halloween.
“Human heads have been around forever” was my favorite quote from this 🤣🤣 I went to my spirit but other than animatronics it seemed entirely stuff from last year. Saw some new things in here I’d love, so I think I’m going to have to check out one a little farther away and hope their stock is different!

I love this style of video. We dont have Spirit Halloween in the UK. I would be in heaven (or hell) in this shop. I wish we had the vast choice of halloween and autumnal decor that you guys have in the US. ❤👻
So jealous your Spirit is amazing! Ours did not have the displays like yours! They have more costumes than anything and the store has zero room for anything else.

I cut out the part of this filming process where I had to go sit in my car for 20 mins to some down 😅 I ended up asking the manager if they could turn the music down because I was so overstimulated I couldn’t even shop haha 😂 totally relatable! 🖤

We always do a big haunted house the week of halloween. About 7 years ago, i decided i wanted to be Sam but couldnt find a costume anywhere. So i spent hours dying/sewing some jammies, making my sucker, sourcing a burlap sac and paper maching a head. It was hands down my fave costume ever and ive been obsessed with him since. I love that they have so much Trick R Treat decor now!

That mausoleum/graveyard is FANTASTIC! So cool that they actually sell that! And I agree 💯 that fogging skull piece is timeless and you can use it over and over again and even in witchy/vampy/spidery/serial killer/beetlejuice decor etc lol. Im having my first pumpkin spice coffee of the season this morning with sugar free pumpkin pie creamer getting in the mode and loved seeing all the things! Thank you so much for taking us along. I can’t tell u how much I miss being out in person to see this stuff- but I’m grateful I still get to experience the fun of being out vicariously through you. Just want you to know how much these outings mean to some of us that can’t physically get out. And even when I caaaan get out- Im still gonna wanna see what you’ve got going on in your neck of the woods lol! So excited for this season and I can’t wait to see what you put together! Loved seeing the new intro out in the wild. I’m waiting in the usual provincial slowness for the shuttered Bed Bath and Beyond to transform into a Spirit. It’s next to the only Starbucks for 70 miles in any direction so I have to presume that it will. I want to transform my garden into a graveyard. I live in the middle of nowhere of Central Florida, so I have to fight for my spooky 👻.

The Spirit I work at opened a few weeks ago as well, and we are jammed packed with merchandise. We are in a different location than last year, so have a TON of things to still put out, but we really do not have the room right now, lol. Some of the home decor are repeats from last year, and I love it to be honest because I did not stock up as much as I wanted to. The day we opened, we had folks coming in and putting their names on the list for our displays, everything is already claimed! I love the animatronics, however we have had 2 that were broken by little hands already, Slim & the Creepy Doll. Slim was broken on the 3rd day, and The giant creepy doll was broken within a few hours of setting her up, so that is the down side to having so many set up, kids really do run amuck and it is usually us, the staff, that have to tell them to chill :( And we did not use the Scarecrow as the 1st, entry animatronic. We actually used the Mars Attacks Alien and it is so awesome! We have some new masks this year as well as a lot more men’s wigs, and the Licensed costumes are overflowing! Of course Barbie was a hit! I wish we were open year round, as this is normal home decor for me, lol. But working at Spirit is probably one of the funnest part time, seasonal jobs I have ever had and will continue to come back every year. So glad you did this walk through and bought those foggy skulls! 👻

I so hope people will post videos customizing Dolly Darling because Im not the biigest fan of her as is but I see so much potential. Also interested to see what people will do with that skull pile. The jack-o-lantern on the pillar though. That looked amazing. The cheese cloth really does work incredibly well.

I love cootie catchers! ^_^ I learned how to make them in fourth grade, since a kid taught me how to fold paper to make one, and I still make them sometimes! I call them fortune tellers though, since that's the name that I always knew them to be called! :D
