A few updates on this video: 1. I erroneously said the camera connection kit has a USB-C port. It has a LIGHTNING port, as well as a USB-A port. 2. I've successfully set up pre-cuing with the "Split Cue" option in dJay. This sends the mains to the left output and the cue to the headphone jack on my Studio 24c. I can control the cue mix & volume with the Buddy's corresponding right-side knobs.
Hi! The problem seems to be the Buddy’s sound card. Routing it into an external mixer won’t fix it, unless the mixer has some cool noise reduction feature.

Can you plug usb hub into iOS port on relook buddy and power buddy by the standalone pc port? Looking for a way to ditch the camera connector.
I believe I tried that but it didn't work. From what I understand, the camera connector facilitates proper USB to lighting connectivity
